Onion Girl Posted February 15 Posted February 15 I believe at this point in her career she cares more about making music and art that she is proud of. I don't know why people still complain about promo or charts.. like why does it matter? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure having #1 songs is exciting to her even now, but it just feels so unimportant and unnecessary to worry about that stuff. I don't think she cares as much as some fans do. 2

MadMax12 Posted February 15 Posted February 15 (edited) She needs a radio friendly lead single that will have longevity. The problem with her recent leads is they don’t have much replay value so they were front-loaded on their debut week. I don’t expect something like Training Season that was clearly made for radio, but something with a catchy hook that you’ll want to hear again Edited February 15 by MadMax12 7

More like for her fanbase's own mental health, Gaga was literally depressed during her best time (aka A Star Is Born). If she cared that much about success and all then she would have dropped her career after ARTPOP

So I trust it. That say I don't know a bit of what has been done with her or if anything materialized or will make the cut, if it's for LG7 or even if only writing session or anything. He just told that RedOne was spending time in LA in late 2023 for some work with Gaga and more. Not that much sorry I believe you but I’ll remember it as an insider teasing Redone dark bop lead single 2
trueromance Posted February 15 Posted February 15 i think there is a healthy middle. it’s human nature to want to do well so a #1 would make her happy, yes. but she’s someone who always believes in the art she’s putting out and that’s what matters most to her so no, i don’t think she needs it. 1

Santhosh Posted February 15 Posted February 15 We all saw how excited she was when she heard million reasons skyrocked number 1 ( I'm talking about the 5ft2 documentary scene ), when she flexed the ASIB sales and ROM at 1 or whenever the shows get sold out. I just want to see her happy knowing people are enjoying her music. That's it !!! Nothing more than that.

Barbie is very camp, so it wasn't a sure thing that it would become a blockbuster. Here we have a different monster. The main audience for Joker 1 is white men over 35, and a lot of incels are fans of the movie because they got the wrong idea about what it means. If what I think she's talking about happens in the movie, I can definitely see the main audience getting upset. They'll probably call it "woke" or something. + this time there's music in it/it is a musical and that's another turn off I don't think she's wrong in being worried, but I hope the gays will make up for the incels who will probably hate the movie. She had said it herself many times, and that Tony + C2C were her motivation to keep going.
Gam Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I've already seen hate on Joker 2 cause apparently "this Harley isn't as attractive as Margot Robbie"
