If the single comes out Feb 2, could that mean we might get a Grammys performance on Feb 4?

I don't understand why so many big artists are releasing new music this year.

Like...where were they during 2022/2023? Seems sussy

It's about damn time...can't wait for Gaga to destroy everyone. I hope she gives a full BTW-type era with 4-5 music videos and a bunch of amazing songs, maybe 1-2 produced by RedOne for all time's sake.

New sounds, new looks, new videos, new vibes

I remember a lot people said that about 1Q 2023 as well. I think in the future, we can all expect to see crowded 1Qs in the industry. 4Q used to be the biggest quarter for new releases, but in the streaming era, Christmas music absolutely dominates the charts and impedes the success of new music. So, really, starting an era in from September-December can hinder the era's longevity at this point. Best to wait til the Christmas freeze is over, so you end up with a crowded 1Q.

It seems to come in gaps of 4s for big releases all coinciding into one year

2016:

Rihanna, Gaga, Ariana, Drake, Beyonce, The Weeknd, Bruno

2020:

Gaga, Taylor, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Drake, Ariana

2024:

Ariana, Dua Lipa

All but confirmed: Gaga, The Weeknd, ???
