DonnieDarko Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 I don’t get why some of ya’ll feel the need to bring others down while reviewing a song. It’s so unnecessary. I get the need to pick on OGH’s and I applaud it but to laugh at other liddos’ because they don’t like the song. Meh. The song is a great RS song. Gaga did amazing. That’s all there is. We can say that and still appreciate and include other genres she’s making. 1

GGD Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 Also, this song doesn't feel like 7 minutes at all. Maybe that's one of the reasons Gaga didn't suggest to have a verse. She probably thought it was already perfect without adding another element to the song. 1

This. Why is he so clear but shes distorted. She definitely needed a verse so she wasn't shouting the entire time. But I think the song itself is really good I like when it all explodes toward the end with the trumpet. I'm glad it exists I mean the RS are legends after all but I think it could have been a bit more polished.
Devin Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 Kinda what I expected. A cameo-like feature to tease us if she goes this direction next. She sounds great and I could see this being nom’d in the Rock + ROTY categories.

Leptine Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 Song is amazing, I was hoping for her to be more present on the track but that's fine, her presence is still very strong anyway, she sounds amazing

Devin Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 At least we know what she will be performing at the 2024 Grammys.
Nico Robin Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 Sounds like a future classic me thinks

Abracadabra Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 SSOH is incredible Thank god Gaga doesn't listen to Liddos who would rather her record songs that Kat DeLuna rejected from RedOne in 2008 She's a real legend. This is MUSIC 2 3

Bimbo Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 Her vocals sound great, they fit perfectly, the song goes by fast, it's a fresh sound from her... if you're complaining ask for an ear check NOW 3

LaMaterialista Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 (edited) beautiful harmonizations (imo so much better than diggin' my grave, I can barely listen to that song when I play the album in full) and overall a solid track! beautiful lyrics as well and very on topic with what gaga would sing on her own Edited September 28, 2023 by LaMaterialista
Happylittlepunk Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 The song is honestly fantastic and really does give off classic rock vibes which is severely missing from mainstream radio right now. i am also very happy the critics are loving this song and hopefully this encourages to truly debut Rockga for LG7. She has settle the foundation for it now with this song. plus I love how the collab all the artist involved focusing on delivering an amazing song instead of just trends or tik tok. Anyways hopefully Gaga involved more with rock music. Olivia and Billie also doing somewhat rock elements into their music brings a new renaissance for the rock music genre that’s needed in mainstream radio. 3

State of Grace. Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 (edited) I think we should have expected her not to have a solo verse when we got the song credits and she was N/A tbh. That is my only complaint tbh. The song is perfect and doesnt feel like 7mins at all. She's also still very much present on the majority of it and her vocals are the highlight by far. Praying to Allah, God, and all the gods in the universe that this is direction for LG7. Or at least within the same genre. Edited September 28, 2023 by State of Grace. 2
