I do not agree. I think a big part of what garnered her, her massive fanbase was the Monster Ball and its "love yourself, it is okay to be a weirdo" message. I think had she toured with Kanye, she would not have been able to/allowed to hammer that message so hard because the audience would not have been as receptive. To this day, many of her longtime fans call TMB one of the most transformative moments of their lives. I think the attention/success the Kanye tour would have brought her would have been fleeting and boxed her into the kind of artist who would not have been able to go on to release Born This Way. 2 hours ago, pablozedd said: Ugh why cant she do collabs with pop artists.. like theres plenty artists thatd say yes immediately. SZA, Doja Cat, Katy, Britney, Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Bad Bunny, Shakira idk, maybe Bruno Mars and even The Weeknd? Because she does not like the music they make. The foil cover and Urban Outfitters vinyls are both incredibly expensive now. EDIT: The repress could even swap in DWUW feat. Xtina. Hum no Think about the fans who have it and could sell it at a good price 😉 2

You're assuming Gaga wouldn't have incorporated that message into the Fame Kills Tour or the music that followed... 1
blackoutbritney Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Whoever said Gaga needs to move back to nyc and record here is soooo correct. She needs some more grit and creativity to inspire her and I don’t get any of that in LA. Olivia moved to NY to record guts for that exact reason and the album is perfection

Infernal Paradise Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Quote It’s followed by “Sweet Sounds of Heaven,” a gospel-charged song about music as salvation, stoked by Stevie Wonder on keyboards. “Let us sing, let us shout/Let us all stand up proud/Let the old still believe that they’re young,” Jagger and an exuberant Lady Gaga sing, pushing each other to one peak and then, after a pause, restarting the groove as a studio jam that reaches even higher — an ecstatic climax to the album. Marry The Gods Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Gaga going rock she should continue collaborating with rock legends and not fast food collabs like Miley Cyrus. No offense to Miley I think she's talented but her voice is so annoying and I just think her music is so unbelievably corny. Her and Gaga also have very different personalities. It just wouldn't mesh well. Miley tries too hard to be the modern Debbie Harry and it just falls flat with her grating vocals and limited songwriting ability. 2 1
