We all thought it was fake because there's no way someone would cry over something so silly but they found her facebook and it turned out the reaction was genuine as she comes from a Mormon family She was crying and talking about being hurt. Judas really pissed off the white christians back in the day That vid was a kii, but I don’t think I got through it all cuz it was too cringy

People felt like she was using Bowie’s death to sell products. In reality, she already had an Intel deal before Bowie’s death and she changed her whole performance to a tribute for him but was obligated to use Intel tech in the performance. And then right after the performance there was an Intel commercial Still wondering what was the original concept for the Intel performance.

MAKSIM Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 2 hours ago, AidanUnderYou said: she was doing that bad lol. Her streaming growth has been a lot bigger than how much the market has grown overall. In 2016 she had 5.3m monthly listeners and #1 had 31m. That’s 6x less. An equivalent figure nowadays would be ~15m. She had less monthly listeners than Tori Kelly and Carly Rae Jepsen and only had a few hundred thousand more than Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Lopez It’s fine to talk about now she’s a streaming elixir but whew they were dark times Right, she was bombing. It’s kind of a miracle her catalogue is as high as it is now considering how bad her streaming numbers 2013-2017 were.

At the end of the day, it did far better than anyone could’ve ever dreamed of and it’s been charting on Spotify WW for almost 2 months now. It’s recurrent streams will never go close to as low as they were before the trend and it’ll easily end up the most streamed song on BTW with 500m at the very least by the end of the year. With multiple global certifications eventually. It was a massive, unpredictable win. TikTok trend hits normally keep recurrent streams higher than normal so I wouldn’t be surprised if it reaches 1 billion eventually.

Aden Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 I don't care much for BM's chart placements on Spotify, only it's streams. I'll consider it over when it starts dropping on both streams and radio, which it was yet to do for both.
