Leptine Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Speaking of music videos... Koreans truly have the best music video directors, hands down. This video in 4k full screen is a slay, they're at the top of the game currently. Like there's no surprise these bands are doing these kind of views in few time, western artists are not even trying these days with music videos, like the last Cardi B video is trying to serve hi tech but in fact looks cheap.

Eh. The quality of the music videos is quite irrelevant. While the music videos is certainly a contributing factor to rise of k-pop, nobody is rewatching the video countless of times just to look at the video. Most k-pop videos these days are visual clutter and clashing aesthetics that lack consistency throughout the video. It's like a barrage of blinking lights directed striaght to your face and it's hard to follow and look at sometimes. Though the camerawork and visual effects are almost always top tier and appealing, that I will admit. The west could learn a thing or two.

And the giant statue and these black things in the water are like they have been taken from the The Fame fragrance video The scene with the white background where she's on fire also reminds me of the Bad Romance video

Sombre Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 (edited) No one cares what a dancer Gaga is. She's a singer first and foremost. At this point, couldn't care less if she dances as long as she just struts around the stage and interacts with the audience. This is a 2 hour long performance. If it means she doesn't have to bust another hip, then so be it. Tbh fff. Edited July 14, 2022 by Sombre
Freaky Prince Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 When Gaga was serving sshit dancing was during BTWB and Enigma, and we know those were times where she wasnt in the right state mentally (her vocals also being bad at Enigma) - having a terrible choreographer also didnt help. During the other shows, she might lose focus due to the shows being 2 hours, but she still does a good job. And when it comes to TV appearances, she EATS every step up. Not yall not wanting choreos now that Richy is out. At least one more dance era, sorry ladies.
Kimi Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Less pop star choreography more rock star energy. She has natural charisma unlike any other pop girl, she don’t need to be doing cartwheels on stage.
Komet Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 Everybody moved!! This from the dolby thing, right? Can we finally get a whole instrumental this way pls?

They could never ever control that. People even manage to take pictures at Berghain where the audience is just a few hundred people.

Tickets here often say it‘s forbidden to take videos, only exception is for personal use.

But the mail seems… weird? Idk, the tone of the mail seems off to me and there‘s a spelling mistake, as well as a weird use of commas. Not saying it‘s fake, it‘s just weird

Most people from the public find her to be a fine/good dancer because they're not experts or focused on the dancing. Her moves are passable and she give it her all. 2 hours ago, BadMonster said: So apparently it'll be forbidden to take pics or videos during the concert, sounds like that's impossible to achieve Pretty sure this is a rule for all concerts but it's not really enforced because, like, how can you enforce it?

Sombre Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 +1 to a rock album. Hopefully she even screams more than she has in her lifetime in the songs!
AlexStexaul Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 hope her next lead single sounds like this if not, keep it
