If the original LG7 is scrapped or reworked to mold into a more GP-friendly, DWAS cohesive album, I hope we at least still get all the song meant for LG7 eventually ahh :{(((( I was so excited. Screw it, if you guys are right and it is being reworked, just make it a 25 track album like SOS and give us the GP-friendly DWAS songs as singles/at the beginning of the album and then the second half can be the original LG7, it'll make all her fans happy and 25 tracks is good for streaming anyways

I'd like to think they wouldn't announce a date for the album only to delay hit because a song became bigger than they expected but this video is making me doubt it. 

The way she switched the narrative from hell, darkness, demons and pain to "chaos that ends with love".

Okay in all honesty DWAS is quite good and I would actually be hype for a soft rock/pop album from Gaga, but not if that means the original tracks we heard (and haven't heard) from LG7 get cut for it.

 

Release Die With the Smile (the album) as LG7 in the spring and then the original LG7 (with disease, zombie, abracadabra) as LG8 next fall

If she indeed postponed the album i think April 18 would be perfect. Pre-orders starting by the end of the month, multiple versions and months to bulk sales. She needs to play the game like everyone else

 

Then time to properly work on the next single. Using the 1st Coachella concert to première somem new music and then the album release for the second weekend - all of this right before the biggest concert of her career in Rio. All eyes on her

creating a song demands a huge amount of time. writing it, working on the instrumental, mixing, mastering, and possibly working on various versions of it - as a person who occasionally makes music, the whole thing can be veryyyy tiring. she wouldn't have time or even disposition to rework the whole album.

 

considering there's a photoshoot and possibly physicals, also.

She could patch the album with Harlequin leftovers, 15-minute-written HAG songs and quick fixes by DJWS. And then a rabbit hole album would be complete.

I just want to say for the record, the Lady / Gaga concept isn't actually that awful (I've always assumed she would do it - especially around the pre-LG5 time when she got the G-A-G-A notes tattooed on her) but the problem we face is whether or not her and her team would execute it well and deliver the right style of "Lady" music ie. not make it jazz. A 10 track spring album with songs like DWAS, Brown Eyes, ARUTW, soft rock and R&B style tracks, followed by a dark pop album in September with 10 tracks like Disease, Abracadabra, Notorious Being etc like the stuff we've been hearing. Two albums with multiple variants would garner a lot for her label, loads of material to tour with, then eventually repackage them together with extra tracks as a deluxe release. It would have the potential to be huge.
