It is just me, or FKOH feels reallt short?

 

Anyway, it's cute song, the chorus is very catchy. I admit it I didn't expect a fun uptempo song to be on the album. Mine is still my favorite of the three songs out though.

Yes. It kinda feels like another chorus was cut off at after the bridge.

FKOH is infectious. Been stuck in my head all morning. It’s very obviously a CRJ type song but I love love love it. Can’t wait for the remix and I hope this gets a big push for a single.

What kind of material leaves you shook?  Totally respect your take of course, just for me, both 'mine' and 'fkoh' have far exceeded expectations, with 'me' meeting them.  She's showing off different sides of her voice and sounds that don't feel traditionally like her. And I feel like specifically with those former two titles, KC the writer is front and center.  I'm THRILLED with the new stuff.  Just curious as to what you were/are hoping for.

i think the hype was too high for me from what kelly was saying about FKOH. i prefer “mine” but also get why it’s not doing well as a single … i feel that there will be much better on the album

Another new song? I thought she was referring to the remix of FKOH. 

 

She also said she thinks FKOH is going to be a single. 
 

Confirmed no performance on The Voice. She’s appearing to support D Smooth but stands with the writers so she isn’t doing anything that’ll make her money on the show during it. Blake isn’t performing either. 
 

She basically alluded to pursuing Broadway without saying it. It’s part of her reason for moving to NYC. And to be closer to her family.

 

Her team has had meetings on how to promote during the writer’s strike so there may be some surprises soon. 
 

They are looking at options for how to use the Belasco footage because it came out better than expected. Considering documentary, etc. 

 

She didn’t know Carly wrote on FKOH until the record was being finished. Kelly wrote the melody and most of the lyrics. Same thing with another song on the album that Nick Jonas has a writing credit on. 
 

I feel like those were the bigger pieces I got out of it.

I think it's generally a good move to do these lives. Most people don't follow every detail the way the core base does. Even if we've heard info it's likely the info is new to someone else. 
 

also, it's nice to see her in such a relaxed format.

I don’t know if I even had expectations or things I was necessarily hoping for. I don’t know how to articulate this but nothing released so far sounds.. new? Me sounds like it didn’t make the cut on MOL. You can definitely hear the Carly Rae Jepsen sound on FKOH. Actually I lied. I was expecting more big breakup anthems that she used to be known for. I understand why she didn’t go that route however. Everything is a little… soft. & I was hoping for grittier I think. Like I said though, usually the best material by her never see the light of day as singles so I’m sure I’ll love the album as a whole. But the singles aren’t hitting for me. We’re still streaming obsessively though because it’s Kelly (Mine & FKOH that is).

I'm sure admins will love you telling someone to "stop posting" when we're all allowed to share our opinions. There's no law or rule against that. I'm just saying the lives feel off and disingenuous and the rollout this era has been less than stellar and I'm not the only one who thinks that. Look at Pulse, for example. Someone posted an entire novel about how the rollout should've gone, and they weren't wrong.

 

But, going by your playbook, if you can't handle an opinion that might differ from yours, maybe you should get off this forum and stay off the internet all together, because sweetie I hate to break it to ya, but the World Wide Web is FULL of viewpoints you might not like.
