Can I say that I am kinda dissapointedd with how dumb and uneducated the trolls and haters are this era so far already? there are no clever drags so far, just a lot of empty statements. I know most people use this pop forum as escapism and to have a quick kii. But some of these replies just makes me wonder how some people survive throughout the day if this is the level they can come up with.

 

First the 'this sounds exactly like FN' comments which shows people have not properly listened to FN at all. And also have no idea how genres work. And then these 'this sounds like Ava Max/Bebe Rexha' replies which also don't make sense since their music doesn't sound the same. They have tapped their feet in different eras of music and borrowed from certain eras of music but that doessn't make them the same. It's like saying Jessie Ware's What's Your Pleasure, Kylie's Disco and Dua's Future Nostalgia sound the same since they all borrow from disco and the 70s in their sounds and aesthetics but the albums don't sound the same.

 

Like even if you want to make the argument it sounds like the Weeknd or Nothing But Theves I can get the argument but even then they are in the same realm of sounds but also don't sound like copies.

 

We had the lenghty FN era and a pandemic and people still can't up their game and come with good drags and still underestimate Dua

It's funny to me how you see g*ys saying "oh! same sound" and then you go to their profile and see a big header or avi with TS, LDR, BE, AG or OR  like honey, hello! the call is coming from inside of the house 

In the end I have only seen positive reviews from the gp, including friends and people I have on social media and that is what matters. No, the bitter gays who just want to watch the downfall of another female artist just for fun.

Not yet, but if they’re following the same pattern as FN we should get the album title next month and the release date in January.

i said this in the singles thread but i'll say it again, i need more bass and beat driven songs on DL3, the synth-heavy parts on houdini are cute but i see why people think it's samey and imo the more grounded and organic sounding parts (verses) of houdini sound fresher than the synth-heavy parts. the drum roll is a moment  although i really like the catch me if i go – melody

Festivals are almost always announced before/planned around tour dates. She mentioned a proper tour when discussing why she's not getting a tattoo for this album's title--it's too early to announce full dates. She didn't for FN til December 2
