Loves, have you streamed her most underrated song today?

Did something ever leak from the Nile Rodgers sessions?

Albanian folklorica with hint of post-punk modernism

So her Madonna - American Life era is here in terms of sound?

9MhMdnP.gif

If Dua drops Albanian ethnic summer dance-folk bop, she will have the whole Eastern Europe and Middle East on the palm of her hands!

9MhMdnP.gif

She needs to pull a Lil Nas X and give us that middle eastern inspired banger like Call Me By Your Name

The GP wants Dua and a guitar for DL3

In the next few years people would look back and see Dua as a great musician, and not some artists who recorded hit demo songs by her record label. Watch!

It's so funny watching ODHs here trying to push this "faceless, talentless, TTH chanteuse" narrative, while the GP absolutely ADORES her

I've seen some people shocked to find out that she wrote her own songs and came up with the sound for her album herself. Same thing that happened to Madonna back in the day

A bit misogynistic but I'm glad she shattered people's expectation once again

It‘s even funnier when most of them are Av*, C*mila and Ell*e stans calling Dua unknown and faceless

The amount of straight American male YouTubers that are simping for Dua is so funny. A SEXY HOUSEHOLD NAME, I fear

We're Good is the second biggest stain on Moonlight Edition, first one being Not My Problem. I literally streamed that turd once it came out and never again.

I feel like OK and Electricity were the transition. She went from that mid-10s Eurodance/tropical house sound (BTO, NR, Last Dance) to 90s house (OK, Electricity) to 80 synthpop and 70s disco.

It all felt very natural and allowed her to carve out her own lane in the industry.

well then i wanted a full era of those OK / electricity bops.:chick3:  felt a bit robbed tbh. also club FN and her gazillion other remixes spoiled me bad, so im craving for her to delve deeper into those or explore more sounds in a similar vein. DL1 felt v on the surface sonically if that makes sense, and was not that satisfying for my taste…. i mean i bop but still so much more potential in that arena

i’d unstan if she goes poprock

I mean the numerous writer's demos don't help anything tbh :toofunny2:

I'm sure she contributes more than ODHs will give her credit for, however.

I don’t think (and hope) Dua will ever go full Cascada/Vengaboys Eurodance :deadbanana:

I'd stan hard if she modernises 80s pop rock. Dua should study Belinda Carlisle. The cultural reset when Dua drops Heaven Is A Place On Earth 2.0, Circle In The Sand 2.0, Summer Rain 2.0 and Leave A Light On 2.0

Don't even put this into the universe :hoetenks:  The way she would destroy her cool image in minutes

House (a la Electricity) would slap tho

Actually I fully take that back, if Dua ever made a guilty pleasure BOP like Evacuate the Dancefloor my stancard would be secured for good

She made Dua reject music so it’s only right for Dua to return the favor
