I’m happy that this is a 3 act project and we potentially have 2 more albums on the way, but at the same time this is by FAR my favorite Bey album and Renaissance alone was worth the wait. I kind of want time to appreciate it on its own and hope that Act 2 — if it really is another album — is coming out in 2023 at the earliest. She just slayed me so hard with this record

Those Alien Superstar edits are driving a lot of hype for the album right now so that’s really unfortunate. 
 

I honestly don’t understand the reason for doing that. My first thought was they want people to listen to it on streaming services, but the reason AS is doing so well on streaming is because of those edits, not in spite of them.

 

I don’t want to hear anything about now her team is so smart and “strategic” when they are not, they are out of touch and stupid. It’s as simple as that.

If it really is an album, I anticipate late November in time for Black Friday tbh.
