She's about to get 8th and possibly 9th or 10th #1 this era, this is insane. In 2011, she was the laughing stock and for an entire 10s decade she was mocked with "no hit" and "last hit since 2009". Fast forward in 2022, Katy's last hit was 2014; Britney's last solo hit was 2011; Gaga's was front loaded and couldn't spend more than 4 weeks inside the top 10 and Adele is declining. Hell even Ed Sheeran is declining.

I could these singles being hit:

#1 BMS

#1 AS

#1 Cuff It

Cute top 10/20: Cozy, SR

R&B/Urban hits: POTS; VG; Heated

Wait, doesn't she have 11 #1s as is? Refresh my memory lol. The longevity is key and extremely difficult to figure out independently, unless you have Max Martin or his formula down to a science to support you in the industry. What's sillier is that Beyoncé isn't even trying to hack the system to stay relevant. She's truly a savant in the talent and numbers department.

All Up In Your Mind has the potential to be #1

She does but as usual ATRL will discredit anything from DC.

Tbh this is the worst thing she has said. She's fickle, spineless, a coward and just a flip flop ass *****. Of course she was talking about Beyoncé, who else was she talking about on Renaissances release week. Such hypocrisy is vomit-inducing

Beyoncé is DC....From top to bottom, 95% through. To be fair, if we do count DC, then we have to count the fact that some of their albums didn't debut at #1, which would take away from her solo album #1 streak? Or is it objective to see DC as a joint album like EIL?

Low key, am I the only one getting Janelle Monae vibes from a couple of the Renaissance tracks? Particularly Alien Superstar?

The fact that you guys are failing to hear All Up In Your Mind's smash potential is so UGH!

Is there a limit to how many times I can stream BMS on Spotify to help with H100?

I have the album on loop anyway.

This tour transformed me into a psychopathic stan:

To think I used to find Beyoncé boring prior to being subjected to said tour is ludicrous...

Actually it was my fav on the first listen but now it's kinda like top 3 bottom along with I'm That Trash and America Has A Trash.

Heated, Moves, Thique, Plastic was not it at the first listen but now is slowly growing.

I believe you have to stream it with like 2-3 songs in between so it counts, so making a playlist with it as every 3rd songs helps it more as opposed to it just being on repeat.

I bought one copy this week but it seems like we have it on lock, we should really focus now on the second week to try and keep it at #1.

Guess I will just keep listening to the album then. Wonder what track will be my favorite tomorrow. Today’s was Pure. :jonny3:

I'm sick and tired of I'm That Girl being paid dust. My only critique would be for her to re-make a similar track but this time, keep that pace in the beat accelerating and never let it slow down and just spit bars and blow vocals. Nicki and Jay can collaborate and write and compose some magma for her to bring out the emceeing beast out of Bey. Give us that ghetto-cheerleading-Bring It On: All Or Nothing vibes.

I'm not following. What do you mean? Are you referring to the EMAs? Or the operatic Sweet Dreams from the Formation world tour?

I’m not sure if this has already been talked about, but I just opened my Pose 4 box, and the artwork for the CD is the same as the standard one. The T-shirt has the Pose 4 picture on it though. So, either I was given the wrong CD or the “poses” were always for the shirts and just weren’t clarified :rip:

It definitely grows!!! Especially Heated/Move and Thique. I love seeing Alien being used on Twitter Anime Videos so it naturally grows on me too. I like The Gift so automatically I like Energy. Sofa and Virgo's is growing as well.

This whole era's motif is essentially the idea of "Growing On You". The fact that I initially disliked BMS and now am infatuated with it, as the GP sentimentally shares, is a testament. I can't believe I'm saying this but she found a way to put Abba-level crack in her music.

Best*
I mean there's a specific kind of vocal that I think works especially well on a lot of pop music (especially on radio), I'd describe it as typically sharp, crisp but textured vocals. I think this one of the reasons Rihanna become such a hit darling and another reason why Beyonce began wan. Her voice got heavier and she leaned even further into soulfull RnB delivery with lots of runs, mid-low tone, lots of vibrato.

Sweet Dreams has her cutting through the instrumental like a Samuri sword with her sharp/crisp delivery which still have interesting technique and tone. All Up In Your Mind does a similar thing and I think the GP would lap up that kind of delivery, although the song is maybe too alt pop. But I can see it going viral on tick tok, its filled so much unhinged personality.

I think that will make the album to have longevity and stability. I literally skipped BMS all this time ever since July 29th.
