I really don't understand why everyone is confused by what Yvette said.  She said no tour announcement would follow the performance on Christmas Day, not that there was no tour.

Yeah I hate the idea of a residency lol. It gives "washed up" vibes. 

However, Usher's residency was AMAZING. So...maybe I'm conflicted because I've never put Beyonce and residency in the same category.

Bruno Mars and Adele have done residencies, it's definitely not 'washed up' anymore. Especially since she will probably get the biggest vegas deal ever

i don't see what the fan appeal is for preferring a Vegas residency over a tour

 

its more expense added to book travel & hotel room and the tickets will be exponentially higher and limited compared to a local show
