Twitter is absolutely irrelevant

Catering to them or going viral on there always leads to a flop

Thinkpieces galore just to underperform

Quite frankly it’s better for artists to concern themselves with music that

people in the real world will resonate with.

Ultimately it’s up to bey:gayoncecat1:

If she makes music that’s enjoyable + accessible for everyone to enjoy , she’ll be ok.

if she makes music for a niche group & only her hardcore obsessive fans support , she will “flop”

Its up to her how she wants her 40s to be :cm:

An HBO Max or D+ release would definitely be more critically acclaimed, Netflix not only is losing ground but also is increasingly perceived in a negative light

It needs to be on Netflix.

I know talking about her body is tricky, but the last time we saw her with Jay (a month ago), I told yall she wasnt in shape (and shape doesnt mean she has to starve herself - im talking more about fitness and such, a body she needs in order to get through her show with heavy choreo and vocals).

It pains me to say this, but I dont see her releasing anything this summer

Wait didn't Japan close their borders two years ago? I heard they were reopening in June but wow anyways

I’m here on a work visa so I got in last November!

And their karaoke machines are full of Beyoncé :clap3:

Fave looked perfectly in shape at the Oscars, she is 40yo+ her body isn't going to look the same as it used to 10 years ago, I think the overanalyzing her body to sound out when she might or might not comeback is wrong. She also stated she wouldn't do yoyo dieting anymore, trolling aside I'm sure the comeback isn't a year away.

:celestial5:

Plus the last time we saw her she was wearing baggy clothes, a hoddies and some joggers.

I think you got it wrong here - she said shed never starve herself again the way she did post twins in order to get into shape for Coachella in a matter of a year.
That's entirely different from gradually, HEALTHY, losing weight and getting into shape over the course of multiple years.

Beys shows go hard and to be quite frank, she NEEDS a certain physique to pull that off. She's a pro athlete when it comes to this.

I mean, even Tina Turner at 60 maintained a certain physique in order to deliver her shows the way she did. It comes with the territory. I'm by no means body-shaming her, just pointing out the facts.

Kendrick debuted with 286k + no physicals. :emofish:

I'm starting to think Bey can do 300k with physicals and a good release strat + preaumeaux. One thing we know with Bey, is that her albums serve longevity while Kanye/Kendrick ride one week hype. Bey is that girl that can give us that hype on top of acclaimed art + storytelling, and also replayable bops. :gaycat1:

They serve longevity, the hip hop industry is set up differently than pop.

For the first time I feel Bey has lost steam. She really ****** up by not putting Lemonade on Spotify sooner and now this long wait is just a disaster. I really want to know what her plan is. I think this next album is important.

I mean, if you put on the success stan goggles,  I think that’s definitely what the reality is, but Beyoncé clearly doesn’t prioritize commercial success for her albums, otherwise everything after ST would’ve been handled waaaaaay different…but the insane amount of mistakes made since 2016 have been talked to death so.

As much as it would be painful to see her open with anything less that 250k, it truly doesn’t affect her pockets like that, just those first week bragging rights. All she needs to do is perform the single at a widely broadcasted event and announce the money maker right after, her tour. Her performances never fail, so even if the album doesn’t start strong, a solid performance and everybody will still be screaming “Queen B” “Legend” etc and eat those tour tickets up. (Assuming it’s a solo tour)

my perception is that since Lem, she’s more so about getting to the money and that’s in her tours by a long shot :gayoncecat1:

Listen if Kendrick can do 250+ first week with no strong single than Bey can easily do that considering she’s much more anticipated. She is trending on Twitter everyday, and people are thirsty. All she needs is a very strong single

I don't think she's lost her commercial touch just yet. Ultimately everything will depend on the album's release strategy as she's still a household name that can sell out tours based on her name alone (see: OTRII). We all know no one went to those shows for Jay. :bibliahh:

Yeah we haven’t seen her release an actual studio album in the streaming era yet to know how she will do. She could easily get recurrent streams to skyrocket thanks to Tik Tok and have her album do decently. We’ve seen other legacy acts do it, but she’s got to at least play the game to that extent. You don’t have to go do interviews or leave your house anymore but you still have to have a plan.

There’s enough interest in her as a star and her next move. Let’s be real, B8 will be the one that will flop and make no noise. But B7 still has potential, depending on how it’s handled.

I think she's even more relevant than Kendrick on Twitter! But rappers always did good tho.

Edit: So does JCole so I don't see why B can't do it. However, what happen to Post Malone, Adele and Ed Sheeran kinda scared me tho
