She needs to drop the CC equivalent to DELRESTRO / MY HOUSE.

She needs to put out the equivalent to America Has a Problem Remix first :celestial5:

We need BODYGUARD (WETTER REMIX) before that!

Wow this is reminding me of just how much less she's given this era compared to Rennie. :gaycat6:

What exactly has she given this era post album release? Remind me please.

:suburban:

To my understanding, its impossible to have done less post album release than Ms Neck has demonstrated. If anyone ever wondered what doing 0 means after an album release, CC is the era to point to. She truly outdid herself this time

It's Sweet Honey Buckin'!

She just cramped everything on it from the start so that she won't have to bother with the extra work post album release anymore. :cm:

OT: Dangerously In Love is a classic but not many will get it.

Just got out of Blink Twice the directorial debut of Zoe Kravitz and she used "I'm That Girl" in the movie. It sounded so good with the bass. Took me back for a sec.  :jonny:

I gasped when that music kicked in during the movie

extremely well used in the film

you can't compare rihanna's base with bey

when was the last time that demo singer released an album ?

we just had a brand new album months ago (even though most of the fanbase and bey pretend it never exists )

I think it was just a quick ig post, as at that time ST was at its early stage.

I still remember the Ratchet rumor lmao, the alleged Gaga X Beyoncé X Rihanna X Azealia Banks collabo.

I can't find the full version but there's a version of this pic with a film camera and dashboard you typically see on MVs and films. It was def a MV or tour interlude shot. This was when the early version of ST was set to drop before the Super Bowl.

Wow. What a time!! Azealia Banks was really on her come-up. Between "Ratchet" and "Red Flame" for Lady Gaga, she was brought to the studio by Pharrell to work on a guide track for ATM Jam (originally for Beyonce), almost secured a place on ST with her "Partition" guest verse, had a side music project with Cara Delevigne (a band called "ABCD" and their lead single was "Blossom", Azealia's solo version leaked online), was rumored to have worked on music with Kanye for his GOOD Music "Cruel Winter" second compilation, and was in the studio with Hit-Boy for Rihanna (all of her demos for Rih have leaked online: "Kilo", "Let You In", "La Dominadora"). Crazy how you can truly be your own worst enemy and self-sabotage. If she was able to keep it together for those 3 years (2012-2015)... who knows what the female rap landscape would look like today.

Back on topic: I definitely think a music video was planned for Bow Down.

If I'm remembering this correctly, there was the IG photo you've posted above, another where she almost looks bow-legged in all black with a "Bow Down" snapback and a smoke machine about to break down some choreography, and another where it looked like she was driving a UPS truck (one of those mail carrier trucks with no side doors) in a warehouse/parking garage with striped dress pants. All three looked like they were taken around the same time.

The fact that she was able to work on self titled, make music videos for the songs, WHILE touring all in the same year.

It makes sense. Bow Down/I Been On was also released during that time if I'm not mistaken.

It was supposed to be just a fun surprise drop on Soundcloud, but eventually Bey changed her mind and decided to keep it on the album lmao, which is kinda ironic considering the absence of Grown Woman, isn't it?

I also remember that the visuals for Flawless were initially part of No Angel, so she likely scrapped the early version of Bow Down, in which the look above was featured I guess, and reused those visual for Flawless. It seems to be so, given that corny choreography, as it seems to have been created in a day or so.

Flawless was the last video to be shoot... I guess? I remember the inside tea, describing it as a song with a "grunge atmosphere" or something like that.

I remember exactly what you're talking about. There was a video backdrop of her on her website in the black bow down outfit from MCS as well. Everyone thought it was an interlude for the show, but then she performed bow down and they used the baby pics instead.
