I'm sorry but it has to be jealousy from them demons lmao. There is no way they can stan mid ass people but have such high standards when it comes to Bey. They are bothered by Black Female excellence. I'm happy he is getting into Bey discography though 1
Triton Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Fave really put herself in a position where she really can't sing breakup songs, she took the high road with Lemonade and stuck to her guns and life, but we won't ever get an "All I Ask" or "To Be Loved" from her. Listening to Adele recently. The fact that fave chose "Sorry" and "Hold Up" as her main struggle songs while she could have had a bigger anthem with so much credibility and conviction. Imagine a modern MMI… 1
Triton Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Levi's Jeans, 2H2H, Daughter, Tyrant and even 16 Carriages are the most played. Bodyguard would be there but she has done nothing to bring me back to it. 1

For the first time in herstory, this year, in which Bey released new material, will end up with none of these songs in my Top5 most listened of the year, which is CRAZY. I just feel so very indifferent towards the project and Bey, its really a first for me in all my decades of being a huge fan 2
Burn Posted July 7 Posted July 7 I think what hasn't helped is that CC came out too soon after Renaissance. This was the closest she's released two albums together and I think it's made fans feel a bit disillusioned. We didn't have a chance to 'miss' her and be hungry like we did after a 6 year gap between Lemonade and Renaissance.

I love the album but can't listen to it if I'm not in a certain mood.

Texas became her biggest hit since IASF days, so I think that speaks against ur theory... there was a LOT of initial interest, furthered by unprecedented first day/week streams in her career
jane Posted July 7 Posted July 7 I've been using Cecred for a month now officially and thanks to this brand, i can finally give up on relaxers for good. My hair has never been this moisturized and easy to handle. Beyoncé really did her best on this. Even if i was not a fan of Bey, i would become a fan of this brand. Good job Bey and Ms Tina! 5

Texas hold'em is a bigger hit than Break my Soul was. I wish people would stop to think and consider facts before sharing stupid views because they are frustrated. Dont change facts to fit your narrative because Beyoncé is enjoying her summer with her family instead of being a slave to a release almost 30 years into her career. She is also working hard on her next tour that will probably also break bigger records than the Renaissance tour. Just because you dont see her working hard, rehearse and spending sleepless nights in preparation to this tour, doesn't mean she is not doing anything. Stan culture need to leave Beyoncé alone. Let it go! Beyoncé will not provide that satisfaction to your basic entertainments anymore. Move on! Edited July 7 by jane 1 1

To add to this, the initial pre release promo was on point. Then the album came and as excellent as it is it's still missing something. Something I've known about Beyonce is that her performances have always sold HER music. Whether it was a video or a live performance she breathes the life into it. Renaissance is actually brilliant and while it could've really benefitted from some live promo or videos the music itself holds really well. CC is good but long, heavy and v/foreign to her main audience. I don't believe she catered enough to her core audience and that's why it's performing the way it is. Why Tyrant or 2H2H weren't sent to urban radio I'll never understand. Why Leviis Jeans wasn't sent to pop radio I don't understand. Get the hit singles that drive people to listen the album and discover the deeper meaning and get more entranced into this echoville trilogy world that she's building. Like another user said this is one of the first times I'm indifferent about an album from her and I'm one of the few that rode with the gift (excellent album with a messy release). But like she said she doesn't care about this kind of stuff so who am I? 2

Girl I don't know why you're coming for me because I'm not even one of the fans who is frustrated like that. I am positive hive through and through. I have defended the length of the album, her work ethic and the success of CC. See below. On 5/7/2024 at 8:35 PM, Burn said: when people say the album too long I think... well what songs would you cut? because I genuinely wouldn't cut any of them, Alligator Tears is my least fave but I still consider it a 10/10 song. maybe Bey did try to trim it but found every song deserved its place. when it's someone like Chris Brown or she-who-shall-not-be-named dropping 30-50 track albums of mediocre music I can see the argument for a more succinct album of quality songs, but when all 27 tracks on CC are stellar (yes even the interludes) I think it's justified. On 6/12/2024 at 1:05 PM, Burn said: Hmm idk. She might not be THE hardest working but she's certainly up there. She's constantly creating or working on something. The lack of promotion or an 'era' doesn't erase that we are getting 3 fully fledged albums within 3-4 years which is impressive. I can't even imagine the long days she was working when she was on the road for the RWT and after hopping off stage probably went straight to the studio to work on CC. I don't know where she gets the energy from. Before that, she went from FWT, to giving birth, to Beychella, dropping EIL and back on the road for OTRII, to working on The Gift, then Black Is King, then straight onto the acts and filming the visuals (which yes we haven't seen but from what we have seen, it's evident how much time and effort has gone into them). And this is all within the last 8 years. When you think about it there isn't a single year in the past 15+ years where she hasn't been working on a major project. 4 years into the 2020s I think we're doing ok in terms of what she's given us. Yes it could always be better but it could always be worse (just imagine if you were a Rihanna, Gaga, Katy or Britney stan). The only stanbase who has received more than us is Taylor stans, but that's all quantity and no quality so that's neither here nor there. On 6/20/2024 at 6:29 PM, Burn said: This era is more of a success than Bey ever planned for. She said before that she didn't expect Renaissance to be received as well as it was. She (and we) certainly didn't expect to get two #1 singles and the success of Cuff It. So this era has already surpassed her expectations. And I don't want to jinx act iii but I feel like we'll probably get another #1 with its lead single. She knows that we're gonna support it regardless so she doesn't feel the need to push it. My previous post was trying to understand the reasons why OTHER fans are frustrated.
