Honestly, I feel like CC is going like they planned it. Remember how they said they didnt expect Rennie to be that longlasting and thus had to prolong the era. I feel like they want to let CC die down, release act 3 quite soon and then tour the trilogy.

Releasing an album while the other is still smashing is not a problem, that would be ridiculous on their part. Not long ago, SZA had two albums in the top 10, now Future has 2, Morgan Wallen has 2 in the top 10, had two in the top 5 and Taylor has a bunch.

Like who takes decisions at Parkwood? An album doesn't have to die completely to let the other breathe in the streaming era, actually an old album still doing good helps the new one.

The music can speak for itself, but when you're pushing 3 albums that could all be released 5-6 years apart, 40-50 visuals can not speak for themselves. Even if there's a 3 part series highlighting each album, if act iii is another album, there's so much that will get lost. I spent all of 2023 on edge waiting for visuals that were confirmed and teased and I'm a lil over it as well as not caring about more than 5-7 videos for songs for act ii.

I do think there's a pretty high likelihood the visuals will flop. The Hive will be excited for the most part, but some people are over it. I just can't see casual Beyonce fans running to watch videos from Renaissance, especially if they're combined with visuals from other acts. People just don't have the attention span anymore.

Agreed, but I just refer to what Parkwood/Beyonce essentially said themselves: they didnt expect Renaissance to be appreciated that much which then led to them extending the era and giving Renaissance its own tour

A year already chile :foot: Today last year I was in beautiful rainy Paris, vibrating with anticipation. Tomorrow I landed in bright, sunny Stockholm, thinking about Neck rising from the dead like Jesus just a few hours from now. What a whirlwind those days were :'( I miss having **** to look forward to

I feel like the reason Renaissance didnt help from CC is that its a completely different sonic album. Whoever was listening is CC was definitely not listening to renaissance and vice versa. Not they're both only being listened to by her fans/supporters since both albums still somewhat alienate her main R&B/Urban audience.

I definitely prefer Renaissance over Cowboy Carter.

Well, Cowboy Carter will go platinum in the short term, and then we can get ACT III around Grammy/Super Bowl time.

Really it's over for expecting Beyonce to care about how well she streams how many hits she gets. We're really at the point where as long as she makes a splash when an album drops we know the tour will sell. The fear that she won't sell tickets I think we can put to bed, now that we see her lil formula.

Let's accept reality.

I'm just gonna stan when it makes sense to Stan and vacate the premises when she does.

We've consistently gotten less & less with each era since 2013 to the point there's not even a booklet/photoshoot or physical cd with the full album tracklist now.

Will act iii have an album cover at this point? or even a name at all?

TBD.

Speaking for myself, it's not the chart stuff that rankles me. I really don't care about streams and hits, although celebrating her success is always nice. What kinda hurts is that it feels like we're engaging with a brand and not a real person who is involved and enthusiastic. It's sterile, it's just no fun. There is a happy medium between Enya ghostery and Taylor Swift overexposation. Bey chose the Enya route with a glaring exception made for endorsement deals and side hustles yet not for her own art. I know she wanted her empire and got it, but at what cost? She likely does not care (honestly neither would I if I were richer than god) but she alienated even some of her most loyal fans with the so-mysterious-so-elusive-but-wait-here's-something-else-to-buy antics. Renaissance and CC each deserved the attention Cecred and Ivy Park and Tiffany got from her. It's unfortunate that multiple Tiffany collections got more "complete" Beyonce eras than her own albums did.

you could post this message every single day and the bootlickers would STILL not get it and say you're just complaining bc you want more IASF type of promo or "she deserves to do nothing SHE'S A MOTHER OF 3" :rip:

like yes beyoncé has done way more than enough in her life to deserve any rest she wants BUT as long as she can do multiple shoots and commercials for jewelry and shampoo brands she can absolutely give us an album photoshoot

you either do nothing and let the music speak, live your Enya fantasy and stop the avon lady cosplay OR you do it all, promote & focus on whatever you want but at least include the ******* music. she can't have it both ways, someone should remind her that we stan a musician and performer, not a shopping channel :coffee2:
