Just look at Taylor, already announcing a music video is coming up and i'm sure she has so much more fan content to come to keep them engaged. This is basic business She also has her own instagram feature ready, she has a countdown that is working... like, Bey has the same resources, yet ... we get a flawed rollout and her trying to sell the Beyince Version of her album Edited April 17 by Kristie Kuwa
MrPiggyMoka Posted April 17 Posted April 17 If you don't think Flamenco and My Rose is one of the best things she's ever created, you're not a real Bey fan sorry. 4 1 1 2
Lose My Breath Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Cowboy is her vocal magnum opus. The things she does with her voice is just incredible. This album is in a similar vein as both B'day and 4, the soul, the funk, the rock. It's just an amazing album 1

We get a lead single and an album but that's it until the tour which can be a year later. I really miss the days of award show performances. 1 2

When I'm not listening to the album I'm irritated with it and Beyoncé, but then I listen or watch a reaction vid and fall back in love with it. It's truly mental.
Virgos Groove Posted April 17 Posted April 17 WHO let that man come in the studio and do ad-libs all over the track? (Almost) ruined a holy bop.
Redporus Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Levi's Jeans confirmed as the next single, since she used it in her denim outfit post on IG.
Babydoll. Posted April 17 Posted April 17 tyrant is such a wacky song tbh lol. the spoken dolly interlude; the opening percussion and layered vocals; the producer tag; the looped sample (); the very last 6-inch-esque bridge; the story in the lyrics... we love an avant-garde songstress 6
Blue Rose Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Vocally she has been getting better and better with every album without exceptions. That's why I don't get people who say that 4 is her best album vocally, that album has been devoured 4 times already 1 2

Punch Posted April 17 Posted April 17 The thing is all she would "need" could do is post A Tiny Desk ish ( This Album is perfect for it ) Performance sitting down on one of her Sofas in her Mansions / Parkwood Studios . One Guitarist ( + Pianist ) and sing some of the Album songs " Jolene" " Bodyguard " " Daughter " " Flamenco " " Sweet Honey Buckin" Acoustic version Post it on her Insta or a snippet of it or partially and the rest on Youtube . " Omg a Acoustic / Tiny Desk Performance by B !?? " " Her Voice is Amazing , She is One of One " etc the Convo it would spark = Promo 1

That also applies to Kitty Kat and some people are still having a hard time understanding it after 15 years. 1

This is basic business This is why I wish she still had a Mathew Knowles at Parkwood. Not too much that he tells her what to do, but somehow who can tell her, "Hey, this looks like a great idea to do. Let's do it!" As much as we like Yvette, Andrew and all these other people, they all seem to be yes men at this point. And I don't blame them. I don't want to be let go the next day I try to go against the grain. Didn't she fire a lot of Parkwood employees a few years ago? I mean, she even let go of Teresa who's been with her since day 1. 1
Beyle Street Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Meh, as a LOVER of CC, I think, even with much more promo, it would eventually be less stable than Renaissance. It's like a masterful film that doesn't cater much to whatever the GP overall likes. Now, this could and should be doing much better i.e. Bodyguard would be doing numbers if that's what was being pushed. Tyrant could be on Urban Radio. 1

Island Goddess Posted April 17 Posted April 17 At least she's adding different album cuts to her last two IG reels. The bar is in hell but it's progress. 3

À setting like Revel, in the UK or Ireland and broadcasted live would slay. I honestly think it was meant for that too, I was listening to the album and thinking how the visuals on the sphere inside would be so insane for that setting. You can almost show a film.
Draper. Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Not another era of "Taylor does this and Beyoncé does not". Taylor measures her own success with numbers, Beyoncé CLEARLY does not. Just learn that. Is Beyoncé lacking? Sure, but we don't need her to do everything Taylor does. Stop comparing them.
Mitsouko Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Where did the "Sphere fell through" thing come from? Did I miss an insider spilling?

Matthew worked for a percentage (and whatever he snuck out), everyone at parkwood is on a yearly salary. Honestly if they're getting paid the same as they did during the pandemic why even bother, great gig actually. Just show her the inevitable #1 album position, go to instagram on release week for an ad, keep feeding into her "elusive chanteuse" mentality to prevent further work. 5
