I wonder what Beyoncé's favourite Miley album is. Is she more of a Dead Petz or a Younger Now type of girl.

I think she enjoys the hip hop feature Miley. But fell in love with her as a vocalist when Blue played her The Climb and then Flowers grammy performance sealed the deal.

I've been watching a lot of Beyonce reaction videos and I notice a trend. Most of them can bop to her music but they really really love her live performances. If they do like her music it tends to be the more personal songs aka Lemonade.

I don't know if this parallel makes sense to anyone else but when I hear cowboy Carter, I kinda get Alanis Morissette jagged little pill teas. Somewhat of the sound and the attitude, and also the success that I expect to happen as a result.

yup there's an alt 90s vibe throughout the album to me

I still don't know why people didn't pick up on Beyonce revealing in the Renaissance film that she has access to her growl so easily due to an injury and surgery. Everyone else's growls sound so painful and forced but hers is natural and she always throws off vocal coach reaction videos when she does it. It's her SUPERPOWER.

I'm so disappointed she still associates with Travis Scott. What a disgusting, talentless murderer

If Bey doesn't win AOTY with Cowboy Carter...I'm done

How can someone be so consistent and yet experimental and deliver quality 5+ times in a row?

Bodyguard gives me "Soak Up the Sun" vibes

I love how breezy and chill it is :jonnycat:

So they combined the single version for both Texas and 16 carriages with the explicit album version. Still waiting for them to combine the explicit and clean version of the album.

Any theories about what the beeps are at the end of a few songs?

Could it be related to something in the visuals?

Maybe like:

Blackbird beep goes into CC story.

Sweet Honey Buckin beep into Renaissance story.

Amen beep into Act 3 story.

idk but maybe we'll understand once act iii/the film happens

if she manages to tie the acts all together in a film or series of film that will be insanity :skull:

I just had a theory about the visuals being it's own film. So, most of us already know that Cowboy Carter and act iii also aligns with the Renaissance visuals somehow. I just thought that maybe the 3 acts also form 3 different POVs. Hear me out, RENAISSANCE is Jolene, Cowboy Carter is Beyonce, and act iii possibly being her man. These three POVs form a plot about Jolene having an affair with her man and Beyonce finding out. Since the visuals is apparently its own movie they use specific songs from the three acts to signify the plot and it becomes it's own soundtrack within the movie. In ALIEN SUPERSTAR, Beyonce sings if that's your man then why he over here from Jolene POV, and in JOLENE, she warns her but in her own POV. I thought I sounded smart when I thought of this so lmk what you think

Given that she is the queen of vacations, I would say ESV :dies:

Why aren't the lyrics up on Spotify?

When in the visuals film at the end the scene pans out of her brain and she's laying in a therapist couch & we find out the three acts are her three different states of mind

ren - her relationship with her fans, the hive

cc - her family, ppl closest to her, her roots

act iii - the media, her haters, the future of her career

we know there is a 'villain' of the story, and she appears on that one still that says 'whoever controls the media, controls your brain' (act iii) so somehow she defeats this person/concept in act iii

and the beeps are some instrument the therapist uses so she can explore those parts of her mind

either im eating or my brain is rotting either way she is a genius

this is kind of unrelated to your comment but this made think of how both acts kind of have their own film genre. RENAISSANCE is science-fiction and CBC is Westerns. Maybe each POV or whatever will have a genre. If act iii is Jazz then it might be a James Bond spy moment. Not sure what film genre rock would be though.

Horror hopefully :giraffe:

Or maybe she will go full fantasy or medieval. Didn't she say she liked Game of Thrones at one point? Lol

I think it does mark the beginning and end of the story. Think of Requiem and Blackbird as like the overture/opening credits of the story.

The beep signifies we're going back in time at the start, since the beep apparently is used in the REN film when she talks about the passage of time. And she's speaking to her children (I imagine as babies) In 16 Carriages she's talking to Blue, Protector to Rumi, and then My Rose to Sir. It reminds me of a soldier spending time with his kids before going off to war (which is possibly how she felt traveling without her children initially)

Then the story progresses to the smoke hour section which begins our titular hero, cowboy Carter's story; she meets a man at a hoedown, Jolene tries to take him, she kills Jolene, goes on the run and takes him with her (which is the entire smoke hour section, 1&2).

Im not 100% sure on the Linda Martell Show storyline, but it plays out like a western for sure. I imagine the beeps at the end bring us back into the "present" and then transition us into the future as it transitions into ITG

I'm gonna need the user score in albumoftheyear to go up to 80. She has to get that purple star again.

I think it's the same situation with the credits. There probably was a delay with parkwood or sumn which is why it's taking longer than usual.
