I'm not a music fan of Miley, Dolly, or The Beatles. So, none of this info makes me excited unfortunately.

Now sis you always do state facts but I'm not too sure about this one.

if they had reimagined the song more, it could have taken it, but as it was more-or-less the same just with a Kendrick verse, it didn't do enough to say that it's BETTER than the original, when most of the merits of why it's good are inherited from the original. It just needed more, something new from Beyoncé especially, for me to see it as having bested the original.

No, I mean stuff like Mine (feat. Drake), Upgrade U (feat. Jay-Z), Move (feat. Grace Jones/Tems). Things that are there from day one. Like, it's been thought of and part of the plan. Not a post-release "hop on this record" kind of thing.

OH. I see. I confused it thinking you meant you wish the remixes were on the records, not just more/clearer collabs.

Lowkey, I do hope she does highlight black country singers as well.

This album getting whiter by the day. I can't say I'm not here for it especially after black/Nigerian twitter's behavior towards her capitalist neque.

I feel you. Tbh I can't admit I wasn't a lil disappointed on first hearing it as I was expecting new vocals like the BMS and Cuff It remixes, but I appreciated the changes she made in the instrumental. I think if she wasn't on tour she would have had time to do more with it but she just wanted to get it out while the song was going viral.

Listen... A beatles cover isn't far fetched ever since Paul McCartney was showing up to her shows..

It usually goes to her shows, he loves her down. He also confessed once that her performance of IIWAB convinced him to go to the show shr performed it to. Still she could have left that cover out of the album. Tbh that is not exciting. Not only than their fans are also unbearable and put down pop girls.

It will be bad for her if there's no black artist featured, yeah. Hopefully there is and that artist is just a "khia" so Mr.S didn't care to mention.

I didn't expect any white collabs tbh. She obviously sees something in Miley that she likes so I trust her, and Miley has become a great performer. It can only help the streams too.

I posted it in the album thread, but around 2019 (when she started recording act ii) she posted an IG reel with Come Together by The Beatles as the song.

Idk the Beatles have such a unique discography with room to be re-imagined and interpreted much more dynamic versions of the songs(see: Across The Universe film for reference).

honestly think we are in from some super satisfying surprises based on what we are finding out today. I'm excited!!!

Right!!!!  Not to mention the potential of "Come Together", "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" "Oh, Darlin"

also the Beatles have several "country" songs as well like "I Just Seen A Face"
