I could actually see another song going #1 with the right treatment, but it'd be optimistic to expect them to give the potential #1 the right treatment.:gayoncecat1:

The vinyls ARE moving slow. 300k is happening but she would be having bigger numbers with an early pre-order

Tracklist will ignite bigger movement

As of now, its only dedicated stans purchasing these vinyls. We are the ones buying things without knowing anything about them

And people being able to listen to the album on Friday will move the rest of the stock. I'm really not worried about that.

They'd still need to ship them on time for the sales to count as well. As I said in the CC thread, her posting an unpackaging video on IG would let her casual fans know that they are actually THERE

i think that we might be getting a Rosalia feature. remember the rumors about them collaborating back in 2019, and probably more. i think she's the one since that's the time she would be in the early stages of making this album

additionally, Travis and/or Megan features are realistic, maybe Bruno but i'm not sure about that one, and i have a feeling that Mickey Guyton could have something to to do with the album. on the other side, Taylor, Gaga, Dolly or any other white woman (or man) aren't on the tracklist. there could be a remix with Dolly or sth, but not a feature. i believe that the bonus track could be Jolene cover, but if that's not the case, than it's a TEXAS HOLD 'EM remix and Jolene will be sampled on the main tracklist

EDIT: The Chicks are also a possibility

Texas Hold Em back on TIKTOK

at this point, TEXAS it's too big on both TikTok and Instagram Reels to go anywhere. the album release will only give it a boost, but it's gonna have real longevity. it won't blow up again, but it's okay. it's gonna hit 1B before CUFF IT

I don't know how to feel about the album. I know I'll like it because it's Beyoncé, but I have a feeling I won't love it. :dancehall:

A couple days out this is probably the closest to how I'm feeling. Country is such a challenging genre for me to get into.:deadbanana4: I absolutely HATE it nnn. That being said I have grown to appreciate and enjoy THE & 16C especially the latter. But Beyonce is really gonna carry these songs with her voice and that will probably be enough for me to enjoy it as a whole. But I don't think I will have the same deep connection to CC the way I did for Renn.

But of course I could be proven completely wrong and be blown away. But I am keeping my expectations very tempered mainly due to the genre.

Now if Act 3 is rock I am fully on board and beyond hyped for that.

What is everyone's first memory of Beyoncé?

Mine is seeing the Baby Boy video. I remember just bring fascinated by it and I knew she was a star right then. I would have been about 8 years old at the time.

She will elevate the genre with her vocals and harmonies imo, just like the Pointer Sisters did with the song below for example

This is a great episode and offers historical context to this moment. We're really about witness history with Act II. No one is touching Bey.

Thank you for sharing, listening right now. It's so interesting. I love that these conversations are happening because of Beyoncé.

Watching the 2013 Super Bowl Half-Time Show. I wasn't familiar with her music before that as I was a child and Bey has never had childlike appeal like Katy, Tay, etc. did but I was completely enamoured. I then began searching her videos up on YouTube and would do "marathons" watching one after another. :jonny5:

Honestly, I do expect this to be the least successful era due to the lack of promo, but I bet the music is gonna EAT.
