I swear they have something against black women especially Beyoncé cause she NEVER has a banner on here. Especially during the Renaissance World Tour. She didn’t get a banner either despite it being the most talked about tour other than Eras. It’s actually kind of pissing me off ngl . Bey will get her flowers, don’t you worry 1

Yeah I’m just gonna ignore it lol because it just irked me and we are focusing on the slayage that is TH’E. It’s just weird behavior from them like always.

Kristie Kuwa Posted February 17 Posted February 17 This is the kind of bop and excellence I expect on act ii. Infectious beats meet Beys ear for harmonies, layers and vocals
Starshine Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Toucanne @ the VMAs saying a Renaissance is coming is just too much of a coincidence. I have an inkling we're getting a Gargoyle collab and what some of you theorized might be true that act ii was supposed to be out before act i.

ShouldersSideways Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Has any celebrity ever put their mother on with so much respect like Bey? She's practically a household name and everyone has such reverence for her

bwhansen Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) The article says at some point: "As she shares with Essence, she is ready for the past and present to finally meet." Add to that the Harper's Bazaar cover that was called "The once & future Beyoncé," and Loop The Sample saying "I travel through realms of space and time," this is definitely related to the acts and their visuals. The relentless glamour, the defining style, the commanding presence…. 1

bwhansen Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Okay wait. Renaissance visuals could be set in the present in Echoville. Act II visuals could be set in 1968 at the Hemisfair. And Act III could be the future. That's why she's ready for the past and present to meet, because the first part of the visuals is about Act I and II. Also another interesting point is that the Hemisfair was an International Exposition and these were all about what people envisioned the future to be like, which fits with the retrofuturism theme of the tour... Giselle I got your tea. 2
Babydoll. Posted February 17 Posted February 17 this is just pure perfection. u can feel how overwhelmed with joy she is <3 i cried at every show i went to as soon as DIL started lmfao... 8 1

Giselle I got your tea. HemisFair '68 was the official 1968 World's Fair (or International Exposition) held in San Antonio, Texas, from April 6 through October 6, 1968. April 6 being a Saturday and one week after the album drops. 4
Jon Snow Posted February 17 Posted February 17 there were some interesting things in the interview: about cutting her hair, the saloon, the opera singer, what she does with her hair when she sleeps, her connection to the project and family history. it's an interesting read. and she knows a loooot about haircare. i'm impressed. it's not that she has all those stylists that do things for her, you can see that she knows how to do it and does it herself she takes CECRED seriously, it seems. i hope she puts the work in, makes it easily available and really makes something about it 4
