Her soft vocals in the front half of 16C are sooooo ******* beautiful, it just instantly hits for me.

I am so excited to hear what she has on this album.  I think dropping these 2 songs specifically was super intentional - one being more palatable, catchy and fun and the other being more moody, dark and soulful. A little something for everyone to lead us into a brand new sound for her.

I am curious if the theme of track transitions will carry into this album. I saw the discourse in here over visuals and music videos and some said they expect shorter cuts of most songs to fit them in and I agree. I actually wonder if the song transitions will aid to that as the songs could be edited way shorter, keep the transitions and knock 3 songs out in one scene(by way of example).

Making back the coin they would've dropped on their gifts and fancy dinner.

What do you guys think are her real chances to get a #1 debut now?

If it’s just going for those iTunes numbers that’ve been circulating these past days she’s has more than 16k for THE. Don’t know how reliable are these though, but if true it could end the tracking period with more than 20k sales just from iTunes 😨 How many points does this translate to?

since red seems to be the color this era, that means she might be serving EMO next era with black hair. :WAP:

Her Old Town Road. She's long overdue for sixth #1 in the UK. She was close with BMS but sadly British don't like country so it's never happening I guess.

The #1 song in the UK rn is Americana/Country leaning pop. If there's another boppy song on the album she could get it.

I am no expert but I believe those charts are not accurate, good for a rough reference but I wouldn't count on them. I'm also under the impression 1k is roughly 1 point, so we'd need 60K sales to be safe.

I think there is a very slim chance of number 1 but a strong number 2 seems all but guaranteed at this point. Unless Kanye pulls something crazy out the bag.

“Everything is bigger in Texas” and she’s going for it, it’s so much closer to what she would probably wear day to day, just adding a bit more camp given the theme and it’s promo, she literally is a Texan Billionaire.

I can’t wait to see what other designers turn in to her for looks.

How often does an instrumental go top 10 on iTunes?

I cannot believe we went from “she has a family and doesn’t need to promote and we don’t care how quiet she is” to look who is giving multiple outfit changes off the strip and actually posting them AND uploading multiple versions of a single in the first week

Do we know if 16C is predicted to debut on the Hot 100?

yeah it should, not top 10 like texas but if i had to guesstimate maybe like top 30/40

If Lana Del Rey's "A&W" could end up in the Song Of The Year category without appearing on the Hot 100, I'm hoping "16 Carriages" can be in contention. This is one of her best-written songs of all time. :smitten: If it debuts in the top 10 of the Hot Country Songs chart too?
