first verse of BLOW is like Bey at her nastiest, freakiest

VIRGO'S GROOVE is a sonic and vocal masterpiece, impeccable production

I love it now, but I think I felt like this at one point or another. It's literally one of the easiest single choices only due to the nature and 'sound' of Pop music 2020-2022. I think she may have hoped on the trend at the time it was fading and by December after the release, I was fast forwarding to get to the bridge to ride into "ENERGY". It has sustained great on the charts and could've been a bigger hit released earlier, but I didn't grow fund of the song, again, until mid-way through the tour.

The album has a lot of obvious 'radio friendly' and Beyoncé failed MISERABLY at having her BIGGEST album, yet! I think "Break My Soul" was a great way to give you an idea of the albums direction, without giving you the bulk of the album. "Cuff It" was thrown out of no where because ppl liked it on social media and not promoted. I would've easily worked BMS into September with a remix leaning towards the urban audience with a feature, through out some kind of visualizer and ride it out.

"Cuff It" should’ve been released promoted during December and ran through February, obviously for 'Cuff It season', through out some cute Cuff it season merchandise, cute pics and another visualizer. Do an istrumental remix for streaming and again, ride it out.

Now it's spring/summer, perfect time the biggest hit, "HEATED" at the end of May- August. It would've literally did the work itself on radio. Another visualizer, and yes, this is where we add Aubrey for a radio remix to really drive it home. Flood Instagram, tik tok and YT shorts with clips/reels of "HEATED" being performed lived, have Aubrey pop up for a performance and hit at a video that never comes to stay on brand, 🤣🤣🤣‼️

By late September- October, I feel like "America Has A Problem" remix would've seen moderate success as a radio or promotional single. I don't know why but it has a feel I think would've smashed in fall if pushed. I know they sent "Virgos Groove" out internally, but. . .No! I think she should've tried her hand at "Summer Renaissance", but I don't think it would've did anything without some kind of promo or live performances, besides the God awful tour performances.

So my pick to close out the era would've been "ALIEN SUPERSTAR". Though at first I thought it would've been dumb to release AS as a single in any kind of capacity, she released "My House" and it's doing fine. Again, another visualizer- maybe incorporate some of the visuals clips, and flood with reels of the live performances.

If she was smart, release the visual at the end of this year to close out the ear and release the concert documentary at the top of next year before starting Act II in the summer. If the era had more of a public presence, it would not have been hard to make this her biggest era to date. She could've easily did all this in the blink of an eye from her dressing room.

all of this tbh

her having an album with at least 10ish sure fire radio hits and potential bangers only to end up releasing 1 house appetizer and one vanilla/generic one (for her standards) will never sit right with me…

like this era should’ve had 6 singles at LEAST

BMS > Alien for the album release > Cuff It released earlier > AHAP + Remix pushed as soon as it went viral on tiktok > Heated for that quick summer smasha > something cute & lowkey to close out the era (My House / VG / SR / Energy)

and i love BMS as the lead, it was the obvious, logical choice

but damn imagine the SMASHA if she made Alien Superstar the lead, followed by a high quality mv on album release day and a cute performance somewhere… multiple week #1 confirmed :WAP:

god this era and album had SO much wasted potential…

Who knows, it was summer and she already does the most unorthodox **** for sake of being different. It may not have lasted long, but AS could've worked if she planned on doing anything. It's such a huge risk, but doing right could've helped it sustained for atheist 2 months.

I remember when I heard "FORMATION", out the gate I said she was bat-****-crazy. Especially with "SORRY" and "6 INCH" ready and willing to Smash, but racist helped her making it bigger than she planned (this is also the only time withholding a visual worked in her favor). It wasn't typical, it was bold and racy, not something I would've approved as a label head, but it worked.

Hot take but 4 is her weakest visual era (if we exclude Ren which has NONE)

The album is top3 for me but outside of Dance For You which is great none of the videos really give me anything. Party is cute I guess but not very memorable, it could've been executed better.

This era is also when she started messing with yellow hair and I we're still dealing with that to this day, so I kinda associate it with the album nnn. It's rarely looked like really good on her, besides some looks during the ST era, but generally honey brown tones look SO much better on her.

Blow just..... disconnects me, can't put my finger on it. I think it's meant for women and I can understand that.

It seems like Columbia gave her a budget, but she utilized it for "Run The World" solely. "Best Thing I Never Had" and "Dance For You" are at least decent. The other 4 are terrible and cheap. Considering they had to throw the videos together so she could live out her pregnancy without disappearing completely, I don't think she realized her vision for 'visuals' over videos just yet.

as long as she does SOMETHING with her songs other than throwing them on spotify she can easily snatch cute hits, especially with any Ren song (other than All Up that is)

6 Inch just rotting away, being one of the forgotten crown jewels of her discography doesn’t sit well with me either, that song deserved a LOT more (still dreaming about how it would’ve sounded at Coachella with the horn arrangement :psyduck:

Apparently broomstick's movie will be released on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital next year from Universal. If giraffe doesn't follow suit I hope her Amazon warehouse looking ass house falls into the ****ing Pacific.

I would love it if she released it on all those platforms with the visuals included as a second disc set or something.  Would be smart tbh

Giraffe missing a huge chunk being featured on Frank Ocean, Coldplay, etc. :deadbanana4: Just evil. Her lead/solo streams are really impressive.

oh the euphoria and adrenaline were pumping all throughout ITG/Cozy/AS and Cuff It was definitely instantly catchy but also more tame and "predictable" next to them

she does absolutely excel at this type of sound like no one else but VG and Blow just scratch that itch so much more for me
