The press release already confirmed it's gonna be "global," but it looks like they're still figuring out the distribution as the film's website has emails to contact for WW distributors. I think it will still debut on Dec 1 in other countries.

 

"The theatrical concert experience will descend upon thousands of movie theaters, with RENAISSANCE set to officially open in the United States, Canada, and Mexico beginning Friday, December 1, 2023. Additional global cities will be announced at a later date."

I also think it’s misguided to worry about the success of this film and how it will perform. We are past the stage of anything making sense as far as this era goes and we have to work with the cards she dealt us. If it does great awesome, if it flops we know why, but who cares?

While I would prefer the visuals I still love seeing her give us bts footage and seeing this concert in hd is a treat so I’ll take what I can get

okay finally home safe and have had time to digest the show

the longass mute sent me into orbit tho - you could tell it caught everyone off guard and that’s why things devolved into foolishness. she was a mess for saying we won 

 

initially a little disappointed when she popped up in the red Loewe, but it actually worked so well with the color scheme of the lighting in person. the classic is still supreme, but red is still gorgeous
