I sigh every time I'm on a livestream and she does Snooze And All. All Night deserved.

Very cute!

Going to the show, the previews of the visuals are some of what gagged me most and I'm so surprised how few of the Hive are talking about them. All at once, they are giving elevated takes on her visual output (continuity) and fresh ( cinematic in ways that none of her other visuals can compare to). I guess most either think it's specifically for the tour or are (understandably) too tired to try and decode what this woman's plans are lol.

Only thing I'm slightly nervous about is that Bey has been leaning more and more on a visual format that gives us a decent amount of "her" but almost an equal amount of cuts to the "supporting cast" (dancers, extras, scenery). Noticed it a lot during BIK.

Looking at the tour visuals, I'm seeing a lot of extras and activity but not a whole lot of Bey.

On the one hand, it simply (and smartly) may be a means of previewing the visuals without spoiling the major moments (aka Bey's looks, choreo etc). That said, because she did a lot of the whole extras thing during BIK... iono.

I like my Bey visuals to be Bey-centric. Roll on July 29th lol

I can't believe she just left the THIQUE milkers to in a storage unit somewhere. Sick woman.

I think you are right on the money!

Since she has a family now she might have taken a slight step back with her films just like she did with BlK since it’s a lot to film 16 mv’s. The teasers definitely are giving lots of extra’s and other things that fill up the lack of her presence since she probably cannot be in EVERY scene anymore since her home life takes priority now!

anyone wonder that perhaps she's not performing Single Ladies in part because the choreography is now trademarked by Jaquel Knight and she would therefore (I assume) need to pay to use it?

Didn’t he kinda copy that choreo tho? :skull:

Well that's what's kind of funny about him getting the choreography copyrighted... if we want to say dance moves have ownership, technically he would have been infringing on an existing work, one Beyoncé sought out to reference. (not saying that is a problem or wrong, but just owning the copyright to something that is heavily inspired by another work is funny). That is also what makes me wonder if her not doing Single Ladies is in part due to this, since it was Beyoncé's idea to reference Mexican Breakfast, the update was paid for and now it is copyrighted. I'm just speculating though I know nothing about the legal arrangements.

Yes the Thique section was a little too clunky but it still beats the Church Girl section. They could’ve just updated the choreo and make it less complicated. The stripper polls were cringe as well.
Thique/Drunk/Mind all have the potential to hype up the crowd. The Church Girl section is a not a crowd pleaser. That’s just a fact. It’s the dullest moment of the show. People in my section literally sat down during Rather Die Young :rip:

Were those videos of her rehearsing Thique/AUIYM/DIL real?

If they are real, there’s a chance she’ll bring them back?

I wish she would do thique and auiym and just skip drunk if she has to bc it completes the album. Like she even does short ass energy :jonny:

I think the difference is ENERGY is actually improved live and seamlessly blends into BREAK MY SOUL, whereas THIQUE starts as the beginning of that segment is more of a low-key song that according to the one video of it, doesn't really translate as well on stage, at least in the way they've done it.

i feel like this is definitely part of the same scene

These could be scenes from four different music videos and maybe even certain segues into songs like the Lemonade album.

:skull:

Also, what if she gives us another snippet and there's ANOTHER collage of looks not seen before?

F&A is like, ok to me? But it was lowkey ruined by The Beyoncé Experience. The dancer with the angel wings coming to embrace her, with the close ups of her crying that were clearly filmed separately.... it was all too much lmao.

I think that's the VIP tote bag, so I'm guessing they threw a perfume ad in there for the MPLS show?
