It is THE RENAISSANCE TOUR. Not a greatest hits show. Im glad she sacrificed her classics for renaissance songs. Like I would be disappointed if she skipped plastic off the sofa and Virgos groove to do flawless and irreplaceable tbfh.

Some people prefer to see her dance and go full out, some like to see her sing. I really dont see the problem with what he said. Its his opinion after all.

She gives some of both on the Renaissance tour though. She her vocal opening act and then goes into im that girl where she’s kinda rapping and dancing hard like 10 minutes later

I agree, I loved every bit of it as a FAN. But from the perspective of the GP, I would understand how they would feel irritated. Thats all

The GP loves it hence why it's sold out.

Okay and the way I was about to do the opposite and drag her when those rumors of her taking out the ballad section were appearing last week or whatever :skull: I NEED to hear REAL SINGING like I can't wait to cry to Dangerously In Love with my friends

I think both things can be right at the same time, Beyoncé doesn't/didn't have to sacrifice any Ren's songs and still had 3 huge hits. There are songs on the setlist that are neither hits, neither great neither Ren's songs. But at the same time, she's not going to change them. It's whatever. It still makes for an amazing show for a complete stan.

Seeing it like this, it's kind of shocking how much weight she's lost :bloo:

This is making me realize I kinda want her to do a slow song show. Like an hour and half of ballads and SANGING for like one night somewhere kinda like roseland or live at the Wynn but even more stripped back. The BLOODBATH to get tickets would be insane. But we need a show like that from her doing DEEEEEP cuts like yes and I miss you. And then she could rearrange the uptempos into ballads

No, beyonce is a SINGER first who dances, that is why the opening act is so important. She SINGS not just shakes her ass. If you want to see her dance full out, go watch a different show

Right. I mean she's there singing album tracks from Bday, 4, The Gift & Watch the Throne, a bonus track from Homecoming...

It's total fair criticism to for someone to say some of those deep cuts could be replaced with crowd pleasers.

Creative decisions like that are fully subjective, and people are allowed to have their preferences

And honestly I wouldn't be at all surprised if she skipped many hits intentionally to give a follow up tour its own identity & buzz besides the new music

Whoever thinks Beyonce's opening act is "boring" or should have been different, like what is the reason?

They're brain dead and incapable of thinking.

It's beyond me how such individuals could be unable to sit through a 30-minutes ballad set :ace: Have people become THIS stupid? But then again non-stans are the only mfs who are complaining about this.

Precisely. She's rapping, dancing and also serving live ad-libs, which screams 100% Beyoncé.

She has always incorporating both singing and dancing to her shows and will always continue doing so. Those disliking this balance can go see other girls.

This is why I refuse to believe this is a “farewell” tour. I love how she dusting off past fan faves, the real farewell will prob be mainly hits/similar to Homecoming + more international dates.

I mean its nothing to do with stupidity, but it does reflect taste. You have to be a real casual fan who also doesn't appreciate vocal talent to be bored through that section...
