Sia of all girls, is a better vocalist than Beyonce who was classically trained by an opera singer since she was 10 years old. I've been advocate for her snatching all the awards, because much as stans say they don't matter - a receipt is a receipt and receipts don't come much more grander than the Grammys. At the same time, she's best off releasing whenever because there will always be a someone who runs risk of being a thorn in her side. For Grammys 2023, it's all the names you mentioned. Should she wait to the Fall of 2022, she will literally be competing with every major release from September 2022-August 2023 for the 2024 ceremony. It's a fruitless exercise. She'll only end up competing with some of those same names, the Taylors, and whoever the new Billie Eilish or Olivia Rodrigo of that time is. I have faith that she'll win one of the big awards. It's just a total roll dice of when because I genuinely believe it could be the one time we think she totally won't win that she does. I stan this woman so much, but a big part of that has been about taking a granular look at how she+her team so clearly calculate each and every move to ensure she's elevated, uncontested, and has the attention of everyone. There's very visibly a lot of strategy that goes into the sustenance of the "Beyonce" name, brand, and musical legacy. So I very much feel she's always sought out and been given a clean window to slay during her solo release weeks. Labels (even rival labels) are known to do this (as a form of good sportsmanship). It's inevitable that at some point she will tap out of the whole "queen of the pack" thing commercially, but that for sure won't be now when there's so much to prove. Like who cares. how many times are we gonna get mad about her being snubbed. If her album is amazing, and it has cultural impact - that will be what matters. We can't control who releases an album the same year, the impact they have, nor what Grammy voters ultimately decide to do. I know Ed already got it certified Diamond (or very close to Diamond), but either she chose not to get credited or wasn't credited. Every AOTY head-to-head (even Sasha Fierce) has been seen as an upset in hindsight, and this plays very well with her storyline at the Grammys. I personally don't care about AOTY anymore. As long as it is highly publicized that she continues to be disrespected for the biggest categories, it will essentially be etched in history and people will continually return to her projects to try and make non-existent excuses/justifications.
