The 3/4 waltz-y time signature is nice. Ariana Grande - Better Off Took me a minute to realize, but this is one of her best songs. The lyrics are great, the production is beautiful. No complaints. Brandy - Angel in Disguise Great intro to a great album. The production is so good. Lady Gaga - Monster I was listening to TFM the other day and this randomly got really cheesy to me. I used to feel like this is one of her best songs. I guess it just hasn't aged well, for me. Sky Ferreira - 24 Hours One of the most straightforward songs on this album. It's cute and super catchy. Cher - Bad Love The jump in mixing quality from the previous song to this made me SCREAM. Ermmmm, it's not bad at all but it really doesn't stand out to me. Sounds like a (talented) drag queen in the 80s doing a 70s Donna Summer cover album. Ariana Grande - R.E.M This is pretty and cute. It's never been a career highlight or anything for me, personally, though. Cute digestible song. The production is like what I felt Pharrell should've been doing on the whole album. Britney Spears - Breathe on Me Cute. There are other songs on the album I like better, though. Bebe Rexha - Death Row It's alright. Pretty generic. I would've liked to see other songs sent over this, though. Her vocal delivery on the verses is so weird, not super off-putting for me but just weird. Rina Sawayama - Love Me 4 Me One of the best moments on the album. The bridge is a cringefest, but whatever. Tinashe - I Can See the Future A future classic. One of the best songs on the album. Beyoncé - Dance for You One of her best songs, if not her best song. A decade highlight for R&B. The organ... the electric guitar... ma'am............ Ariana Grande - Bad Idea This song is a hot mess. Like it's fun when I'm in the mood for it, but umm.. that chorus is not pleasing to me. Sevdaliza - Wallflower Interesting production. I've never heard their music before, maybe I'm missing out on sumn. Tinashe - The Chase I didn't LOVE this on the album. It sounds like a bad CHVRCHES song. Lady Gaga - Dance in the Dark This is really cheesy to me. The bridge makes my skin crawl no shade. I'm not a fan. Tinashe - Let Me Down Slowly Great song. One of the best moments on the album. Rina Sawayama - Akasaka Sad One of my favorite songs by her. Selena Gomez - Vulnerable Under no circumstances. BETTER OFF - I feel like a lot of Sweetener struggles from half-assed lyricism but this has always been an exception for me. A great song. ANGEL IN DISGUISE - I thought it was fun I like the beat MONSTER - The verses and pre-chorus are nice, but I don’t care for the chorus or post-chorus. 24 HOURS - Not sure where this will fall but it’s nice BAD LOVE - It’s a no from me dawg R.E.M - Bey did it better but this is nice BREATHE ON ME - I knew this would get sent. It’s cute, but doesn’t leave much of an impression imo. I’m sure you’ll do well though. DEATH ROW - I’m still shook that somewhere in that mess of an album Bebe found a way to deliver one of the best pop songs of the year. Excellent. LOVE ME 4 ME - I think this balances the nostalgic intentions of the record without coming off as too childish itself. Love it. I CAN SEE THE FUTURE - I don’t really care for this album beyond a handful of tracks, but I use this. DANCE FOR YOU - Exactly exactly. Sensual bop. BAD IDEA - When this album came out I didn’t really use it, but it’s grown on me a good bit. WALLFLOWER - Idk what this is supposed to give, but it’s not giving it THE CHASE- Second best song on this record behind Bouncin’ DANCE IN THE DARK - The far better Gaga song LET ME DOWN SLOWLY - I don’t remember liking this on first listen but I like it now… AKASAKA SAD - I used to like this but I don’t anymore… VULNERABLE - I keep forgetting about this album, a very cute song tho GIMMIE LOVE - Cute, it’s kinda just there.

I like the slight waltzy ballad vibes, but it IS a little on the boring side. Yet I’ll be ranking it well because this represents a really important album for me!! Ariana Grande - better off Love the atmosphere of this. It's kind of sombre and bittersweet. It isn’t a highlight for me personally but I like how it kind of juxtaposes the other sounds of sweetener. Upper middle? Brandy - Angel in Disguise Standout track from a great album. Really shows that she was already looking far into the future earlier in her career. Will be high-ish. Lady Gaga - Monster I surprisingly liked this! The production has a bit of a darkened edge to it, but it still has a lot of campiness. I know it looks like i’m praising everything but you all did that so :wap: Sky Ferreira - 24 Hours You could basically send anything from this album and I’d adore it. Fun fact though this is my absolute favourite from the album and one of my favourite songs from 2013 in general. Hopefully that kind of praise gives you a rough idea of where you’ll be in my ranks!!! Cher - Bad Love Honestly fun! I actually quite liked it which is saying a lot because I don’t really like most Cher songs i’ve heard aside from Believe. I just wish I was introduced to this song in another round because it’s not going to hit me as hard as others. Definitely think it could’ve been cut 1:30 tho. Ariana Grande - REM YASSSS this is a highlight. Her and Pharrell did some incredible stuff on this album. So beautiful and dreamy. Britney Spears - Breathe On Me Her vocal delivery on this song is soooo cool. This is one of her most interesting albums sonically for me, the electronic production is great. Bebe Rexha - Death Row Her shaky vocal is kind of sending me. But I do like parts of this! I think it was one of the more interesting songs off this album. Rina Sawayama - Love Me 4 Me I really like how a couple of the songs off this album feel like late 80s coming of age movies/tv show soundtracks. Idk why it gives me a fun sense of nostalgia, and kind of representation? Maybe i’m reading too much into it though, since at its core this is just a simple fun breezy bop… which is all I’m after ~ Tinashe - I Can See The Future I haven’t really enjoyed a Tinashe album in a while, something about them just kind of fades into the back in my mind. This is enjoyable. Beyonce - Dance For You You knew you got a classic and we’re all happy about it. One of her best songs, she just does it so well. Ariana Grande - bad idea Honestly tu,n is a weird experience for me because I liked it for a while but basically only revisit like 3 songs now. However, space kind of did a good thing for this song. I like the switchups and the overall vibe. This is in the middle of the Ariana songs sent this round for me~ Sevdaliza - Wallflower Very artsy yes. Tinashe - The Chase Not her giving us nostalgia for the early 2010s. Honestly… kind of cute Lady Gaga - Dance in the Dark Also a bop, not as big of a fan as Monster, but it's still good. Middle maybe? Tinashe - Let Me Down Slowly Not really that into this, it’s okay. Weakest of the three for me Rina Sawayama - Akasaka Sad I liked this a LOT when the album came out. I still enjoy it but like it a bit less. Sky Ferreira - 24 Hours I’m not a big Sky Ferreira fan but I lied before, THIS is the best song I heard so far. Cher - Bad Love I keep lying on y'all it’s ridiculous. THIS is absolutely the best song I heard so far. I think I kinda like the second half better too. Ariana Grande - R.E.M. WHY am I always lying? THIS is definitely without a shadow of doubt, the best song I heard so far. When the second verse hits, WHEW Britney Spears - Breathe On Me … So hey THIS is 100% the best song I heard thus far and I’m certain this is the last time I’ll say this since I doubt Bebe could even compare. Bebe Rexha - Death Row This… isn’t bad at all. I enjoy this very much tbh. Rina Sawayama - Love Me 4 Me This is better than I remember. Very nice song. Tinashe - I Can See The Future You reminded me I need to actually finish this album. But this is honestly a solid song for me. Tinashe - Let Me Down Slowly Okay this one is the best Tinashe song here for me. Very nice. Rina Sawayama - Akasaka Sad This is cute, maybe better than Rina's other song for me. Selena Gomez - Vulnerable I’m assuming Crowded Room or Boyfriend was banned or something so I forgive you. The queerphobic brat served BETTER OFF - it's cute. Is it blowing me away? No, but it doesn't do anything wrong. It's a nice cut ANGEL IN DISGUISE - great song. It's a tad bit too long, but it's gonna do end well anyways. Nice pick MONSTER - actually not too bad for Gaga. For someone so eccentric this is kinda corny and somewhat stale now tbh but I don't mind it 24 HOURS - amazing pick BAD LOVE - this is honestly hilarious I'm sorry.. Good luck I'll leave it at that sjsj R.E.M. - absolute career highlight and one of the many reasons why she should go back to Pharrell. So smooth and chill. BREATHE ON ME - it's nice. I'm not a massive fan of it but it's not a bad song. I'm sure many people will love this tho so <3 DEATH ROW - the guitar here somewhat saves this from being a total trainwreck. I'm not the biggest fan of Bebe's vocal tone, it's very sharp and nasal, but here it's shaky as well which.. really isn't all that great. Not a fan LOVE ME 4 ME - It's fine. It's in the bottom half of the album for me tho. It's not really all that interesting to some of the highlights of the album. It's a nice, solid song tho I CAN SEE THE FUTURE - Didn't fall in love with the singles on this album straight away, but when I heard this I was def sold on the album. Such a solid r&b song. DANCE FOR YOU - insanely good and massive classic. A career highlight from one of the best artists of all time so.. yeah BAD IDEA - only one song on TUN is worse and that's the noisy ass NASA. The chorus.. she knew she can do better than this yeah.. WALLFLOWER - massive risk imo. I love her but I'm gonna guess most people don't know and she's def somewhat hard to get into. I dig it tho. It def holds it own with the interesting production. Esp the singing parts are just immaculate. I could do without some of the spoken parts but I'm still appreciating this a lot x THE CHASE - This is THE best song on the album, but I get that not everyone is clever enough to grasp its brilliance! DANCE IN THE DARK - one of the few times she actually delivered and wasn't just style over substance. Absolute classic of a song and one of her best, it's super weird but delivers. LET ME DOWN SLOWLY - another great Tinashe song. Def my least favorite of the 3 tinashe songs, which def hurts you a bit AKASAKA SAD - Completely blows the other Rina song out the water, and that was already a solid song. Such a great and interesting pop song VULNERABLE - this is so massively overrated by her fans. Not to mention there are much better songs on this album.
