He wants nothing to do with 2017's narrative, however. Also, the albums for 2017's roundup will be Part 1: Reputation/Witness/Rainbow/Divide Part 2: Tell ME You Love Me/Younger Now/... pick two other albums because no one really cares! Perhaps Sign of the Times and something else but a younger artist? Anyone can host them as they're sort of the dregs this year! You could throw in Lust for Life for part 2. And by the way, if no one has taken part 1 yet, I'll gladly take that but I would love to have a co-host since we may be receiving tons of ballots for this one.

Graves Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 I've not listened to them outside of a handful

Achilles. Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Can we include Diana’s I Will Survive cover in her singles rate? It was released internationally and charted on US Dance! Also screaming at Ain’t No Mountain High Enough being a top 10 dance hit this year.
Slamless Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 Has anyone ever done like a 90s female-fronted band rate? we could include no doubt, L7, Sonic youth(?), Hole etc.
EJQL8 Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 @Ace Reject a sophie ellis-bextor singles rate from i got the wherewithal to death of love

conatus Posted December 23, 2017 Posted December 23, 2017 As ATRL‘s resident The Boss Ms. Ross stan, I am definitely here for a Diana/Supremes rate.
Wicked Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 (edited) I still think there should be a rate with like the 20 most acclaimed female artists (based on acclaimed music) have their 5 most acclaimed songs battle it out with each other. The names that would be included are: Spoiler Madonna PJ Harvey Bjork Aretha Franklin Joni Mitchell Kate Bush Patti Smith Beyonce M.I.A. Janis Joplin Missy Elliott Sleater-Kinney Billie Holiday The Supremes Dusty Springfield ANOHNI Janet Jackson Grimes Joanna Newsom St. Vincent It'd be diverse, get people into different genres and fun, even when a predictable Madonna/Beyonce song wins. Edit: And what happened to The Beatles discography rate? I'm ready to participate again Edited December 24, 2017 by Wicked
Graves Posted December 24, 2017 Posted December 24, 2017 I've been familiarizing myself with Diana, but maybe we could make the rate a two-side affair for both her and her group?

Oh I'm sad I missed it, I thought it was postponed indefinitely like the Radiohead rate. That's a great rate, not my fave song from them but a solid choice.
