pop radio at this point just playing background music. you know those song at coffee shop that sounds fine, nice but you won't looking for it to listen again. just nice as background music.

that's what pop radio do. they will play non polarizing song with zero public interest than polarizing song with big public interest. as long as audience don't change the channel, it's all good for them.

there's no diversity in pop radio lol

This is the US airplay thread and the song's historic drop is still breaking records. Should we just mention the records you like? There has never been a drop like this and airplay geeks are just tracking the fall because it will be in the history books forever. It's not like this is Taylor's thread. If you don't like facts and reality just don't visit the thread.

'Oh my... Taylor is already at -600 today based on real time numbers. I can’t even... ' except you have been expecting and witnessing the fall for the past 2 weeks. Looks like anything can shock Atrlers.

Yes, -600 drops on top on -600 the previous week on a 7-day rolling chart are still pretty shocking.

So do you expect it to suddenly be 0 or even become positive?

I think everyone was expecting it to level out by now...soin decrease to drop a bit

It's still getting -600

I at least was expecting it to be like -300 by now...but nope

I don't understand why you are so pressed. People who are interested in airplay charts couldn't care less about who the artist is. It could be anyone. It's just happened that it's Taylor. Those who visit this thread and talk about it are just interested in the historic, record breaking aspect of the song's chart run. That's what this thread is all about. They don't have anything against Taylor.

this week updates are even worse than last week. And yeah, it's very impressive

So historic drops on radio in the radio thread shouldn't be posted anymore because some gets triggered?

Taylor officially has the biggest dropped single in radio history.

What About Us is only approximately 200 spins away from snatching Feel It Still's wig on HOT AC.

She needs that No1 to rewrite the record for female artist with the most No1 songs on HOT AC/Adult Top40 history.

I think it's a hard pill for her stans to swallow so they are retaliating by getting upset and calling anyone discussing this record breaking situation as "losers". If the nosedive into oblivion had plateaued, I would better understand their point; but unfortunately, the song is continuing to collapse in a shocking way and for those who are interested in airplay and the charts it is very interesting to follow. So if you happen to be a fan of this artist, I would suggest that you accept that it will be discussed until the song's journey is over or just avoid threads that don't unanimously praise your favorite singer.

Nobody likes the song in the gp it's clear even Halloween couldn't save it.

This is spot on. I have nothing against Taylor because I'm a big fan of her All Too Well, Begin Again and I Know Places type of music, but Look's downfall is intriguing, alarming, fun and comical all at the same time. It's really enjoyable to watch because I have never seen a song die on radio like this. It's like after the push to #1, it's forgotten into oblivion. However, the Taylor Swift fans are having a hard time accepting it.

Back on topic, I'm surprised at Kesha's Praying still going. I hope Pink can go top 5 on Pop.

What About Us is heading towards the No1 on the Canadian Top40 radio chart very quickly! It is going to top all 3 major Canadian pop formats (POP, HOT AC and AC) simultaneously! It has been at no1 on AC and HOT AC for weeks now.

RCA will keep pushing this in North America until December it appears. It still has a lot of potential on US pop radio.

Both in Canada and the US RCA followed the same strategy. Push it hard on her core formats of AC and HOT AC first and then POP. It is working perfectly in Canada. No1 on all 3.

Obviously they are following the same strategy in the US too. It is November though and many AC stations are going to flip to all Christmas music so she is going to lose most of its audience there. But I am pretty sure it will hit No1 in January or February.
