I kind of am with @Mediabase here, the call out scores are awful, having this song playlisted was probably hurting a lot of stations, especially considering so many completely dropped it starting on Monday.
QueenofCopyPaste Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Her label dont want LWYMMD to be the launching single by the time the album drops
Green Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 7. TAYLOR SWIFT, Look What You Made Me Do 109.725 -6.601 10. ED SHEERAN, Shape Of You 101.523 -0.241 OMG Ed will actually pass her in 2 days
Sinister Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 The world moves on another day another massive drop

doonerr Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 I'm glad it's dropping Release single #2 next week, Tay Tay

BlazingLovatic Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 What are the biggest jumps (in terms of positions) to #1 on pop radio's weekly chart?
Mediabase Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 It is not even noon on the east coast and the song is already at -400 today based on real time numbers. Expect a -800 update tomorrow! Just when you thought it couldn't collapse more.

Shaner69 Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Omg I knew she was gonna suffer a massive drop this week but this is bigger then expected. The freefall is epic lol
Winmill De Kwynn Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Rooting so hard for Demi right now. Get that #1 on pop bitch. //SNS is still so basic, tho.
WonderstruckFR Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Can LWYMMD decrease faster please? We have another smash coming tomorrow.

iHype. Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 So she purposely had it pulled to make room for her new single tomorrow. The way y’all tried it. It all makes sense. She has two songs Top 20 on Pop and obviously it’d be extremely hard to get a third one in rotation at the same time so they shot down the big bird to make room for a new one. This is why even as non stans, never doubt Taylor. The most smartly calculated artist ever.

So she purposely killed the lead single of her new album, making it one of her lead singles with the least longevity, instead of killing Ready For It, for a new song that isn't assured to reach LWYMMD's peak ? Oh and didn't Bieber and Rihanna prove that one can smash with 2 radios hits (RFI ain't one) at the same time without having to "purposely kill your lead sinle" multiple times ? istan4badgalriri Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 The 2nd single dropping tonight doesn't justify those huge losses, that's literally the first time something like this happens It lost -11M audience on one format in 2 days

As you guys pointed out, LWYMMD has bad call out scores. It would make sense to get rid of the one the audience doesn’t want to hear. This just made it obvious it wasn’t payola or LYMMD bombing on radio. They were making way for the next huge song. She hasn’t ever released two (or three) songs to Pop radio prior to her album even dropping so it’s plausible her team was concerned about oversaturation. Yall wanted to present it as “Taylor is OVER!!! on radio. They want her off badly. They had to stop spinning her completely because she was getting such horrible reception!” when it’s undeniable they were just preparing for the next song to take to #1.

How do you explain that luv ?

How do you explain that love? Obviously because because the GP said NO, as seen with the call outs, like that's not the question. But why did LWYMMD suddenly and inexplicably surge on radios last week ? A modern day miracle.
