Witness is ok, it's less bland as Beautiful Trauma, I did enjoy a few songs from it, but it's meh. No me gusta. I thought you stanned Legend P for some reason. On 4/1/2018 at 11:57 PM, lhdang2000 said: Witness won with a landslide. Katy and Taylor have matured in their music, but the topics in their songs need to be about something else. I don't think the GP is here for 30-year-old women to sing hateful songs like Swish Swish or This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things honestly. Beautiful Trauma. Such a great album. Teenage Dream is still here. Slé, one of the best pop albums of all time. I think Dua's album shares the same problem with So Good. It could've been shorter, and it could've been better. AND TELL ME YOU LOVE ME IS IN YOUR TOP 2. I agree about a sad ballad, that's why I've been saying S&M should've been included in the album. You've spilt some piping hot tea there. Teenage Dream truly is one of the best pop albums of all time, and it's my favorite, so it's never leaving my charts. As for the ballad on TMYLM... I truly needed one. Not something about her father because I feel like the triology is complete. She's begging him for attention on FTLOAD, she no longer wants to see him in SCB (my favorite Demi song ever), and she forgave him on Father. Stan for So Good, a work of art! Francesco was robbed from a higher position at Eurovision, it may not have been my favourite but it was so feel-good and the fact that trash like Hey Mamma and I Can’t Go On beat it was a travesty. But, look what happened to Verona. Younger Now is really cute, didn’t deserve to flop so hard but I can see why it did. Dua’s album is great! Not you being a fan of neither Dua or Zara but their albums converting you. a modern-day fairytale Teenage Dream, a classic reputation is her best album. End Game, however, is horrendous, and we all know the reason why. I just pretend it’s not there and listen to my 14-track reputation playlist! Beautiful Trauma is pretty good, I especially liked Where We Go and Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken wow, HFK turned me from a Halsey hater to a borderline stan. Badlands is one of the worst wrecks I’ve ever had to sit through but HFK is so damn good and highly consistent. Never been a huge Demetria fan either but TMYLM is the first work of hers I’ve really enjoyed as a whole and it’s full of amazing songs. Witness is highly underrated and an absolutely wonderful album. She experimented with her sound and it payed off. I stan this top 3 hard I'm still SHOOKETH by I Can't Go On's placement, especially its jury score (the televoters didn't really give him much, thankfully). It was so bland and clichéd that I didn't expect ~professionals~ to vote for it so heavily. I always end up enjoying pop girl albums, so I just bought Dua and Zara's when they were released knowing it wouldn't be a waste of money. You're SO right about HFK, I wasn't a fan before but this album made me borderline stan for the pentasexual and pentaracial kween. I'm glad you enjoyed Witness, you seem like a person whose taste is difficult to please! 4 hours ago, Mark Rih said: Wait @ Zara 2 hours ago, Navyofbadgals said: Scrihm Half of it is tragic but the other half is bops.
KillingYourCareer Posted January 8, 2018 Author Posted January 8, 2018 (edited) TOP 50 SONGS 50. Halsey - Now or Never 151 plays The pentasexual and pentaracial synesthesia affected indie-to-pop legend, Ashley Frangipane a.k.a. Halsey opens the list with the lead single from her sophomore era. Despite being not as good as my expectations (I expected her to pull a Teenage Dream), the track is replay material and it did gather over 150 plays from me. 49. Troye Sivan - Youth 152 plays This amazing, top ten-peaking (on ATRL rates) synthpop bop is another track with great replay value. It's dreamy, and it's one of the few things that make me feel young while I'm aging irreversibly (I'm turning 22 this year, soon I'll be a pensioner living in an elderly people's village in Florida). 48. Sys Bjerre - Malene 153 plays The Danish summer song of 2008, which is about taking revenge on an ex who cheated on her with a girl called Malene and burning up his house as well as stealing his cat, is not very relatable to me, since my love life went swimmingly in 2017. But I don't speak Danish, so I just enjoyed this relaxed bop. 47. Mary J. Blige - Be Without You 154 plays A classic is a classic. Be Without You used to be on MTV all the time back in 2005, and I can never grow tired of it. My favorite part is obviously the outro, where she's desperately screaming for her lover to come back. You know I love loud vocals and drama. 46. Francesco Gabbani - Occidentali's Karma 155 plays The record-breaking OGAY winner and the song that made betters from all over the world lose a huge amount of point. Everyone was sure it would win Eurovision... instead, it came 6th, below the likes of Epic Sax Guy from Moldova and the jury darling the public didn't care , Sweden. Still a bop with great lyrics. 45. Emma Sandström - Circle of Light 156 plays Another bop that got lost in the Eurovision selections, this time from Finland. Poor Emma suffered an unfortunate live performance that saw her earpiece not working, the torch she held not working, and her own vocal chords not working. Finland went on to stay in the semi-final at the Eurovision, so maybe it was best to forgive Emma's one and only bad performance. Good news for her though: she's competing to represent San Marino this year. 44. Justin Bieber & Bloodpop - Friends 157 plays First and last entry from @prézli's favorite artist. I usually ignored the tragic lyrics (the opening lines are something else) and just enjoyed the Do What U Want-inspired music. 43. Halsey - Hopeless 158 plays When I first heard this track from the pentasexual and pentaracial synesthesia affected indie-to-pop legend, Ashley Frangipane a.k.a. Halsey, I thought it was the worst song I'd ever heard. But then it reminded me of certain moments. And I started to enjoy it a bit too much. "The truth hurts, but secrets kill" is a fantastic line. 42. Lisa Ajax - I Don't Give A 160 plays A song that was lost in the highly competitive Swedish selection for the Eurovision--it came last in televote in the final. Doesn't change the fact that it's a bop, albeit super basic. 41. Taylor Swift - Getaway Car 161 plays Another Do What U Want sample makes the list. This is my favorite (but not my most played) track on Reputation. In some parts, it reminds me of Out of the Woods, which was one of my favorites on 1989. Edited January 9, 2018 by KillingYourCareer

ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted January 8, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted January 8, 2018 Katy on albums with a nearly double scrobble lead Demi, Halsey, Taylor and Dua tho Hopeless is really underrated Getaway Car is my joint favourite on rep with Delicate
Bubble Tea Posted January 8, 2018 Posted January 8, 2018 STAN for "Getaway Car." The album's 2nd best song (after "Delicate" of course).

KillingYourCareer Posted January 9, 2018 Author Posted January 9, 2018 TOP 50 SONGS 40. Gabrielle - 5 fine frøkner 162 plays If you have seen the iconic season three of SKAM, you definitely know this song. It's the bop that's playing on the radio while Isak and Even act cute in the kitchen. 39. Katy Perry - Roar 163 plays A song that is never going to get old for me. It marks Katy's golden era. That VMAs performance will always be iconic for me. Staying up until 5:30AM to watch it, that skipping rope moment when all the Little Monsters hoped she would trip over, the way she got all the higher notes right... whew. 38. Blanche - City Lights 164 plays One of the biggest Eurovision surprises of the year, this was the Belgian representative. Despite being lowkey sabotaged by the ever-tasteless juries, she came 4th both in televote and in the overall score. The most modern and perfectly-produced song the Eurovision has seen in a long time, it's such a shame Blanche is putting her debut on hold--especially since her song was the biggest commercial success of the year among the contest's entries. 37. Demi Lovato - Cry Baby 165 plays A very atmospheric R&B song that conveys its feelings of loneliness and bitterness very well. One of Demetria's best-written tracks from her new album, with huge replay value. 36. Katy Perry - Pendulum 166 plays With its dodgy lyrics and heavy choir, the gospel anthem of Witness grabbed my attention thanks to its unique atmosphere that conveys both feelings of desperation and hope. 35. Katy Perry feat. Nicki Minaj - Swish Swish 167 plays When it first came out, I thought it was one of the worst songs I'd ever heard. And in fact it is Katy's worst single, but we're talking about the "worst" song in a bunch of flawless tracks. Doesn't change the fact that it's a bop. Onika's verse is one of her best. 34. Katy Perry - Tsunami 168 plays Easily the best production on Witness. I can't believe Mike Will Made It is the manufacturer, as I remember his productions sounding all the same--I'm glad he didn't follow the path of certain colleagues and changed up his sound. The post-chorus instrumental of Tsunami is one of the most peace-inducing things the human ear could feel. It makes you feel like you're swimming in the pristine waters of the Pacific Ocean. 33. Natti Natasha & Ozuna - Criminal 170 plays The reggaeton bop that deserved Despacito's global success. It's still the most streamed female Latin song of 2017, though. Poor Becky G, beaten one week before the end of the year. 32. Demi Lovato - You Don't Do It for Me Anymore 171 plays Upon the album's release, this was my favorite. I love the amazing use of the powerful vocals, the simple yet never boring production, and the build-up to the last chorus. 31. Clean Bandit & Zara Larsson - Symphony 175 plays Here is the song that inflated So Good's success (in my list) so much. Symphony is by far my favorite DJ song in YEARS. It doesn't have the annoying post-chorus breakdown, the high-pitched sounds are kept lowkey, and Zara's voice is perfect for it. I think of my boyfriend when I listen to it.
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted January 9, 2018 ATRL Moderator Posted January 9, 2018 Tsunami is one of Witness' listenable songs so I'll give it credit the Demi picks and Symphony not Roar making it
