I just assume a lot of them are people that started stanning Ariana around the TUN era. Like, 2 Italian American pop stars with theater backgrounds and a sizable dance catalog absolutely make sense collaborating, especially when one was a fan of the other.

On-topic though: any of those Maroon 5 remixes that used to terrorize the music industry. Every single one of them are awful. The band itself is awful, but the collabs are even worse.
