I mean, even counting songs that had just music videos, it seems only 1 other song has ever gotten 750 million views quicker, which is Hello.

Also doesn't make any sense to downsize his achievement for having 2 videos, when if he had just 1, then that 1 video would have the same amount of views of the 2 combined since people were still searching for the song and would've watched the 1 video anyways.

This is not true at all. How many of those views were from people that saw the lyric video and only checked the official video again to, you know, actually see the video? And vice versa.

You cant compare 2 videos to 1 video, just like you cant compare a video added to 3 Vevo accounts to videos from only 1. Its unfair.

If you don't like a song, I doubt you're going to check to see the music video.

If they liked the song enough to see the music video, then chances are, they would've also listened again to the lyric video if the music video still didn't exist.
