There should be rules of recurrency on this playlist. This has such a huge impact on charts. It's like the Z100 of spotify...

That "All Night" song being plastered in every big playlist (Today's Top Hits, Hot Hits UK, Top Hits Philippines, Top Hits Deutschland, etc) for four months now :skull:

The vamps must be a doing a lot of things under the table all night, to these curators... That's the only explanation.

I think it's their playlist and they can do anything they want with it :michael:

And like radio, people won't listen to it if they don't like the songs on the playlist. I'm recalling that Billboard article that talked about how they use skip rates to help determine whether a song should remain on playlists, which I think is really good.

Sam completely dominating :rip:

if Capitol doesn't send this to pop, they're crazy. They've already missed out on plenty of opportunities in the past with his Montevallo singles.

Absolutely

Next #1? How's it doing on Youtube?

I like mask off altho it's a bit too simple.

I thought coming out strong would be a bigger hit

I don't think it's on YouTube :toofunny3:

It won't go #1, because radio is already picking up Selfish. But it's #1 on Apple Music and probably going #1 on On-Demand Songs (maybe top 10 on the H100 as well?)

We get a new HDD ODS chart tomorrow, so we'll see where it is.

I think it'll depend on how fast it continues to grow. #2 on Spotify, #15 on iTunes (3 Nicki songs just pushed him down), likely about to crack the Urban top 50. It's going to be hard to stop if it keeps pace. It does need Youtube, though.

By the way, if you have been wondering why I haven't been posting the top 50 updates, I've just been catching up in my archive by posting two every day in there. They'll resume in this thread on Sunday, when I should be fully caught up.

No, this week's. So that's 4 million added to "It Ain't Me"'s streaming count this week (Friday-Thursday).
