That's the only explanation.

Recordyear Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 197 Hurricane by Luke Combs 169,679 Sounds like a hit with a right push, although it is the worst song on his ep
alexanderao Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 Zara. Didn't really matter for her, though. 3 hours ago, Monster Megamind said: There should be rules of recurrency on this playlist. I think it's their playlist and they can do anything they want with it And like radio, people won't listen to it if they don't like the songs on the playlist. I'm recalling that Billboard article that talked about how they use skip rates to help determine whether a song should remain on playlists, which I think is really good.

blackbeatxx Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 I like mask off altho it's a bit too simple. I thought coming out strong would be a bigger hit

I don't think it's on YouTube It won't go #1, because radio is already picking up Selfish. But it's #1 on Apple Music and probably going #1 on On-Demand Songs (maybe top 10 on the H100 as well?) We get a new HDD ODS chart tomorrow, so we'll see where it is.

I think it'll depend on how fast it continues to grow. #2 on Spotify, #15 on iTunes (3 Nicki songs just pushed him down), likely about to crack the Urban top 50. It's going to be hard to stop if it keeps pace. It does need Youtube, though.
alexanderao Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 By the way, if you have been wondering why I haven't been posting the top 50 updates, I've just been catching up in my archive by posting two every day in there. They'll resume in this thread on Sunday, when I should be fully caught up. -- 37. Closer (+4)
