Well I just wanted to know how fair the 1500:1 and 150:1 formulas are, revenue wise.

 

But regardless, it looks pretty lucrative going by these figures and with no doubt it's massive in popularity .. We just need to ignore the negativity by the pressed streaming haters who probably never leave their bedrooms

Yeah, even if we use Spotify payout only we have close rate to 150:1 for tracks:

 

Standard track price: $1.29

iTunes deduction: -30% = -0.387

Mechanical rate deduction: -$0.091

Master revenue: $0.812

 

$0.812 /  $0.00453 = 179 streams per download.

B&B's strength isn't Spotify anyway. In fact, the majority of its on-demand streaming is not coming from Spotify. It leads On-Demand Songs with 21M this week, but it only has 10M from Spotify in the past 7 days. As such, it should maintain an ODS advantage over SOY.

At the rate it's climbed during last year. I wouldn't be surprised. Espically if a huge artist makes a return. If Justin Bieber releases a lead single in Q3 or Q4 then it's on lock imo.
