Her image won't be unscathed.

She took decades to build the image of the flawless popstar and of them both as a power couple, let's not act like her career is untied from him when they did multiple collaboration singles and one album.

On top of that, she has promoted herself as a feminist icon. Now she's the woman who was married for 15+ years with a possible rapist, had children with him, and may/may not have known about the situation. Best case scenario would be if she divorced him and went publicly against him, but that still hurts the uncontroversial image she built for herself and her family. And knowing her, even she divorces him she'll stay quiet about the issue. Anyway, she and her PR team must be thinking on all possibilities because whatever plans they had it will have to change.

He either needs to definitely and swiftly validate his innocence in this and any other allegations that are waiting in the wings or she has to leave.

There's no way of knowing yet. It could play out many different ways. Impossible to say, will depend how allegations play out, and if more come out about Jay.

 

One thing I'm already not liking is how much Jay appears to be using his family as a defense mechanism against the allegations. He mentioned them in his response and he showed up to their movie premiere a mere 24 hrs after the allegations were made public. Regardless of innocence or guilt, he knew showing up at that movie premiere would only bring the attention on him at his WIFE's movie premiere. I think he thought it was a public display of the allegations not phasing him and that they're still strong, but I don't think it's coming across as he intended. It has opened up Bey and Blue to an increased amount of online hate for nasty allegations that have nothing to do with them. It comes across really bad from an optics perspective if nothing else. He really should've skipped out on the red carpet of a children's movie a mere 24 hours after some really dark accusations. I only bring this red carpet example up that happened just now because I am afraid if there is any fall from grace for him because of this, he will drag Bey down with him, and she doesn't deserve that.

I don't wanna say this but, she will be associated with this scandel no matter what. Her brand is gonna be scrutinized and all those songs talking about sticking by her man will be used against her. Worst part is when she will eventually be made out to be complicit in his act despite not having a thing to do with what Jay did. Expect the LMs to start concern trolling.

Some of the comments make me wince, especially stuff like "Beyonce you have finally been exposed for your sick crimes with your husband, and you won't be getting away with what you did to Aliyah".

 

I look at the poster and think dickhead, imagining been that publicly embarrassing.

 

Just Like Jennifer, Beyonce will pay it dust, and people will move on.

 

Do you think Beyonce has the effort & energy or desire to even address the jobless bums sat hanging around every media posts, and Gossip sites spewing Venom, entertaining the flock of morons who run with any outlandish story posted about her involvement as fact.

 

The irony is they act like little piss worms, been all angry & bitter calling out artists like Beyonce & JLo on bullshit stories or conspiracies some fat head tick-tocker with a head full of magic spewed to them yet without a lick of evidence they go out there way to try & bully & abuse these women.. kinda contradicting the narrative they are been vocal about.

 

Mucky little bog trolls, need to give there heads a wobble & wind there saggy necks in.

Hard to say. On one hand, public has a short memory and if he isn't convicted/more people come forward this could blow over. On the other, they have been so intertwined for so long, it's hard for his crimes not to cast a shadow over her. Honestly, I wish she would leave him and I wished she left after he cheated. There's always something that rubbed me the wrong way about him, even when he shilled for capitalism.
