Pop alert this is not the commercial album.

***** works hard :jonnykin:

Why do they keep delaying that particular album like what is the issue if it's complete?

Oh, that's surprising, but right, the campaign did feel somewhat different.

Is this album completely solo like UMDP? What kind of music are we talking about? And are there future plans for the commercial album though

It seems like Sony's allowing her/okay with her making music she wants/likes to, that feels like catharsis for her I guess? rather than having her produce hits on every album.

That or she's trying to get put of that contract asap

It is not only the album, there is a full video shot for it :rip: It is "Un Reel" all over again lmao

Trying to get someone to play me some songs when I am back in BA next week, but my friend who listened to it said it is pop/dance and that people will compare it to LALI but Tini's sound is more 90s and house inspired and "classy". She might also have a new vocal producer as there is more belting and dynamic runs.

Dx not "Lali but classy" the unnecessary shade. Why was Un Reel scrapped again?

Its evident, I believe, that an album is on the line, maybe earlier next year. Which is why this campaign.

It would be so cool if it is titled that though!

Ojalá no fuese tuya esta canción (too long for her standard but still!) :jonny:

I feel like it's gonna be called T

FR! According to what we know and what @Blue. has revealed, the collabs are recorded, the album is done, and apparently there is a visual album (or a couple of music videos). All that might possibly remain is singles, marketing, release schedule, and maybe physical release.

Not another (third) self titled album :rip:

There is nothing wrong with the album itself, she just outgrew it. They tried to capitalize on the success of Cupido, so they rushed another Latin Pop album with Andres and Mauricio which felt very disingenuous given her mental state at that time.

Tini stans Clairo, she longs for more than basic dembow.

After hearing it I think my friend meant it as "more expensive". Lali's album sounds very amateur at times, you can tell el cielo has better producers attached.

Un Reel honestly kinda sucks. She had a better song at the time (I think it was Muñecas?) so her team chose to focus and not move forward with El Reel. I know her part of the video was done, not sure if Ozuna's was too.

Sorry, maybe there was a misunderstanding but the scrapped album is not a visual album. The only music video I know of is the one shot in PR for Shake Shack (ft. Young Miko).

This album is not called T. Sony wants her launched as a serious pop star after the Coldplay exposure.

Did the Latin pop album cost them a lot or hurt their pocket (somewhat) for scrapping it? Pictures from filming of the music video looked like a good budget. And did it really have all those collabs (Kenia, Ludmilla, there was a María collab registered)

She's a big and profitable touring act tho. I believe her BA shows and the streaming rights to Flow and Disney+ pocketed them well during UMDP era.

Does T6 have any collabs? Are they going bigger on promo (as compared to un mechón de pelo)? What do you think about her rebranding/revamp? Will it work out well for her? She does have a good, sizeable fanbase, but what seems worrying is that most of her big hits are her songs that are more in the vein of Latin pop, cumbia, reggaeton - genres that are very successful and commercially big in Argentina and its neighbouring countries, where she's already pretty much an established star. Maybe the new sounds can get her to capture a new audience (and maybe even in other target regions; North America seems to still be a main target for her team?)
