GloryDays Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Little to no content about Fantasy, she should be posting more. I liked the tarot stuff she did but we need some more stuff since it seems the video isn't ready.

Rihinvention Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I'm gonna be honest — I love her to death, but I've expected more from her with the 3 x songs we've heard so far. Like, this is the girl who wrote 'Wasabi'… The taste is there, but I wonder if the budget is there for the producers. She has her finger on the pulse of pop culture, and all 3 x songs have felt "almost there"…but didn't quite climax in the way a conventional pop song should. They're far more experimental than I was expecting. I wanted her to give 'Future Nostalgia'…and everything has been more "Eusexua'. Or maybe not THAT experimental, but still…it hasn't been obvious, conventional pop that would slay the charts. This is cool. It's catchy. It has a vision… But it doesn't have replay value. And I've felt this about all 3 x songs so far. She has to win over the general public, but I keep thinking, "if I wasn't a Jade fan…would I listen to this…?" And the answer to me is…no, I don't think I would… As a little bit of a side-note; it's such an unfortunate day to release new music in the UK. Especially as a soloist who got famous in 2011 from the biggest boy/girl-band in the UK. Apparenty Shawn Mendes and Joe Jonas both delayed their October 18th releases, because industry-insiders told their labels that Harry Styles was going to surprise-release tomorrow. That obviously won't happen now. But I feel like the next 3-4 weeks of releases won't (and shouldn't) get that much attention, especially in the UK… 1 4 4
tyt Posted October 17 Posted October 17 3/3 this is gay fantasy the outro is beyond pop perfection she's coming to serve the aoty of 2025, isn't she 3

Rihinvention Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) 43 minutes ago, abra said: Not you complimenting her Baby, I love Jade DOWN. Always have, always will. I've been a diehard Mixer since 2011. I swear, I watch this clip at least once every 2 weeks (and by "this clip", I mean the scene that starts at 32:37 of this video). And then I fall into a rabbithole of all Little Mix interviews... But the way Jade comforted Jesy (when ALL of England was bullying her) melted my heart. This was literally the moment they went from "the underdogs" and "the next ones out" — to being "The Spice Girls 2.0" / "The girl version of One Direction" / "The first girl group to ever win The X-Factor." It's kinda sad, but Jesy was almost like a sacrificial lamb... The vulnerability of Jesy being "bullied by everyone in the UK" storyline is what turned their popularity around, and helped them win. I've been in love with Jade ever since she tried to comfort "the odd one out." That moment ^ was so, so sweet. I truly believe that, in that moment (when Jade comforted Jesy as she cried and had a panic attack) she (Jade) truly exhibited "girl power" in the social media era. In that moment, Jesy and Jade won the show, and completely changed the lives of all 4 of them…forever. I think that's why I feel so guilty/embarrassed over the whole "she's gaining weight because of HOW MUCH SHE'S EATING" misunderstanding now (from before) because I know their ENTIRE lore from the past 14 years 😭 Edited October 17 by Rihinvention 1 1 1

Perrie tried with generic songs to win general public and we saw how this turned out . This year Charli is smashing and her music is Experimental C. Even though im upset she didnt release FUFN , all 3 songs have replay value D. Is kind of crazy hearing "Jade fans" saying that they were expecting more from her , when she is serving gay cunty bops one after the other which is EXACTLY what we wanted and expecting from her 8 1
The Slayer Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) I love all four girls so much, this Liam news really hit home - life is too short to hold grudges. Plus social media is the pits, people need to learn to be kinder, especially some people on this forum too when it comes to Jesy. I've literally seen so many tweets saying Jesy should be 'next' to die. Hopefully people can learn and move forward and respect all four girls. Honestly, I hope the girls make up, it'd be so sad if when they pass away they are not on decent terms. The bond was so special. Edited October 17 by The Slayer 2 1

Well you know very well we had our differences in the past regarding Jesy But yeah i wish all 4 of them to be healthy and happy and maybe somehow one day they will be friends again ( i dont care about reuniting as a 4 piece of LM , as long as they can forgive each other and be in good terms ) 1

I'm talking about the overall production. I would love to see her collaborate with Jax Jones, Dom Dolla, MNEK, Riton, and Galantis. UK club music is amazing. They know how to produce and amazing remix. My (personal) belief is that what she's delivered (so far) might not deliver the results that we were hoping for, because the production is too left-field for radio. This is what I (personally) wanted from one of their solo projects: I love her to death, but I don't see myself playing the 3 x songs she's released so far very much. If I, as a die-hard stan, am not even playing her 3 x songs very much, then I worry about how much (potential) new fans will be invested… 2

BUT what made me a STAN was JADE - Angel of My Dreams that was EVERYTHING I WANTED from next pop girlie and she gave me that. So i wanna be called as one of JADE biggest fan truly. And I wish all the girls to find some succes that they deserved. Edited October 17 by revivval 1

shark_heather Posted October 17 Posted October 17 @Rihinvention pff yeah sure we all want club bangers with djs and the producers you mentioned but i would prefer these collabs to be released as individuals and not as part of an album roll out She needs to be established as an artist and to bring out her own aesthetic and she actually does it with these songs 4
Lord Of Countdown Posted October 17 Posted October 17 DJ collabs are for basic girls, Jade doesn't need them at all. 1

She literally said it. I think it's actually good and kinda unexpected that she's trying to carve a niche for herself rather than releasing uninspired and manufactured songs. There's no clear "radio songs" on the album. She's experimenting with so many styles and genres and I admire her for that. 6
