No they don't you don't see Beyonce doing interviews, when's the last time she's done an interview for her album?

• Selena was always very open that acting is her main love and recently said music is just a hobby.

• Gaga said she wanted to be an actress but music worked out first.

==> Gaga never stopped, she's still veryyy invested in her music career.

• Rihanna abandoned everything to become a make-up lady.

==> It has never really been her passion, she just released non-stop for a few years, found a huge success and then disappeared because it was just a job for her tbh.

• Britney has been free for years but no music in sight.

==> That's the most extreme case. Britney has been enslaved, stripped for her human rights for 13 years. It's sadly totally understandable that she wants to disappear from the industry.

• Ariana, while still being in the game, puts less effort into her eras and also has her eye on the acting world.

==> She has got a lot of success, was confronted to criticism, she was trying to be someone else to please the public but she feels better a bit farer from the cameras and fame. She's not retired or anything she just slowed down to enjoy her life and find herself.

• In previous years Miley talked of disillusionment with the music industry and celebrity culture in general, but at least she seems to have found her way back.

Look at Zayn career after he decided to release and nothing else. Normal pop girls cannot do it.

Being a pop star is demanding tbh. Touring and performing in general isn't easy, and then you have to go into the studio and record music and if you make one tiny misstep and under-perform or flop, it could ruin your career's momentum. It doesn't help that music fans are incredibly fickle and will ditch you at the first sign of trouble.

Touring is exhausting and selling make-up/perfumes and influencing is easier + more lucrative.

some of you forget that it's a JOB for them just like any other. i'm sure most people on this forum have wanted a change in their working life at some point. it's the same thing. anyone would get tired of doing the same thing for too long.

it's not demanding for Taylor, Madonna, or Beyonce they love performing

I don't get it... so because some people are unhappy with their own day-to-day/lives it means we should want Rihanna to make herself miserable working herself to the bone just so we can relate to her more? I can't be mad at her for enjoying her life. That energy is better focussed on how I can get to the point where I can truly enjoy my fruits of my labor than being envious of someone who's already achieved that.
