RoseBud Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Sabrina with a big thank you to Taylor for a no new variants week. That is a true friendship. Everything looking good for the album drop..... 1
Wicked Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Just support the artists you like to the best of your ability/pockets. Watching this stuff to this extent can't be healthy. Most of the artists I love don't chart and if they do, they pull low numbers, that's fine with me and them because I buy the CD, merch, and tour tickets. A lot of artists shined this year, monoculture is dead, on a whole other section of music social media Blue Lips (an album that moved 36k first week) has been the most talked about album. I see just as many tweets about HMHAS as I have TTPD and etc,. Everyone in every corner of their world is "getting shine" Average person not even looking at billboard. Only one album can be the most consumed of the week, obviously the person with the largest fanbase will win that slot 9/10 times. If y'all are really this bugged about it then spread said artists music to make more fans I guess lmfao, do their marketing teams job.
Alldeezy Posted August 22 Posted August 22 I mean even if she tried to flop she couldn't. She dropped a mid album and still holding onto that #1 Idk if any artist can do that tbh. I mean Kanye isn't fair behind but he is a horrible person so ofcourse he won't be Taylor level

ATRL will keep saying that charts don't matter, and yet will keep on crying about it week after week, giving them 10 times the importance that they actually have. EXACTLY. The whole "charts don't matter" is nothing but extremely transparent cope and i wish people would be more honest about it. But no, they act as if critics are what's most important these days, which will ALL know is absolutely false. Most of ATRL's faves (like Britney or Rihanna for example) have never been acclaimed and stan twitter/sites like this clearly never cared Edited August 22 by Enrique523
Happylittlepunk Posted August 22 Posted August 22 No if you step away from Stan Twitter and atrl you notice Taylor really isn't doing anything wrong and the gp doesn't know she been number #1 for weeks. female artist need to step up there game and be competitive. her fanbase is just annoying really.
woohoo Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Taylor's gonna have to retire for that to happen. She's had 15 weeks at number if she didn't release a single variant she'd still have 12 or 13 out of those 15. She's built this fan base a great relationship with them for almost 20 years. She does 3 hour shows for them while the other girls call that weird. There's a reason they aren't shinning. Ambition and drive.
