Now that Kamala Harris has announced her campaign for president following an endorsement from Joe Biden, who will she pick as her vice presidential candidate?

*Note: Governors Gavin Newsom and Gretchen Whitmer have already taken their names out of consideration.* See below:

Shapiro is the boring, but understandable option.

The right option is Greg Casar

Do you genuinely think a Black woman/Gay man ticket could win in America?

Shaprio (win PA) or Cooper (Term limited governor of a sort of swing state) make the most sense strategically. I can see Mark Kelly and Andy Beshear being considered too

Buttgieg makes no sense (and I'm pretty sure he and Kamala don't even like each other) and I assume people just voted for him because he's a name they recognize

How so?

I believe he was her debate coach in 2020.

I mean if we keep stuck in this "[insert race/gender/orientation] could never win the presidency" mindset we'll never move foward. If it's a good candidate with a good campaign, they can win. Obama showed us that.

I would love Warren, Ocasio-Cortez, or Sanders :clap3:

Safe choice - Shapiro. PA is a must-win, so anything to shore up support there is a good choice.

Risky choice - Cooper. NC is winnable (especially with the loon they are running for governor), so this could be a nice push to turning NC blue.

Andy Beshear

It can't be Roy Cooper because NC has a Republican lieutenant governor.

Shapiro is only two years into his job though, it might backfire.
