Deserved for teasing a visual for this album and pulling a Renaissance again. What game is she playing with herself :rip:

Beyonce doesn't give a f*ck tho. Cuz where are the visuals? TV appearances? Not even a cute YT performance. NOTHING!

An album isn't a flop if it doesn't have longevity. This has been a critical and commercial success for Beyonce and gave her a generation defining hit with Texas Hold Em, her longest running Number 1 ever in the UK. She hit a peak in Spotify monthly listeners upon the release, too.

It was fleeting, sure, but it was still a hit.

Gimmicks don't sell albums anymore methinks :suburban:

And what gimmicks exactly did she pull with this album? Because she didn't even have physical copies of the album available to buy until the other week and the best selling female artist of the year has relied exclusively on gimmicks to sell her records (no shade). Gimmicks do sell albums...very well. And, as Hive, I wish Bey used some!

What about a Super Bowl commercial?

The Super Bowl commercial that wasn't shown in the UK, you mean?

If we're keeping it about the OP, the Super Bowl moment did little in the UK beyond creating a few viral social media moments which boosted awareness of the two lead singles (remember, the album wasn't actually announced with the Verizon Ad, only Texas and 16).

Texas became an organic hit in the UK (and still gets regular spins on pop radio alongside II Most Wanted) and definitely helped raise awareness of the album, which was a big success here. It was a front-loaded success because the person that released it has no desire to promote it outside of random instagram reels and flipagrams.

She's probably rehearsing right now for the tour, instead of worrying about blocking all the other amazing women on the charts this year with stunts and antics.

the lack of promo + no second single of course have an impact. With a new single you get more playlisting so even if that doesn't give you a top 10 it's enought to still navigate on the charts for more weeks

Saying that all the concept of this album is just uninteresting...the intent was to create a big controversy but no one cared..."the criticism i faced when i first entered on the genre"....girl who ever talked about that? Can her team come with something new? :suburban:. Also the album is very average, not great as Reinassance.

If Beyonce clearly doesn't care, why should the UK?

She didn't have any real hit in the last 10 years so it is catching up with her longevity now

How and why did it stay there for 14 weeks? People being curious and streaming it in the first 2 weeks I don't blame them but after that come on Jolene!

That's the spirit. She don't care, why should we? Keep it moving gays and get readay for act III to close the zero-visuals, zero-fvcks-given saga.
