wehan6 Posted July 11 Posted July 11 the internet has been dragging her for almost a month now so you guys should just get used to it because the viral hate tweets aren't going away anytime soon. she's dropping soty and voty today so don't let all that negativity ruin this day and the rest of the era for you 9
Paragon Posted July 11 Posted July 11 OH NIRVANA, the hit that you are But we have to work on with the Doechii collab one
Cyber Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Gimme Gimme sounds like a hit. 1 from these 3 songs might be the next single.
bleuwaffle Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Some of the lyrics are giving me (less fun) Sheezus flashbacks which is.... not good. The Gypsy Woman sample is so lazy and dated already. That being said, Nirvana sounds promising. Let's hope there's more straight up dance tracks on the record and not this purposeful pop rehash!
Better Mistakes Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Sounds like easy listening pop by numbers which I don't mind. Not everything has to be deep and complex. I really enjoyed Katy's Smile, Anne-Marie's Therapy and Ellie's Higher Than Heaven for the same reasons. what I would like to ask her though is, is this material really worth working with Dr Luke for and I'll assume his associated paycheck?
niteowwl Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Nirvana clip i have is a slower mix (it's way better than what she posted) maybe that's a part of the song we haven't heard yet 2
aotwbys Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Kim Petras slander is unwarranted when butt slütt clears a lot of pop songs Gimme Gimme and It's His are my faves 21's verse is phoned in though. 'I'm like Amazon, cuz I got what you need' lol. 1
KevinDG Posted July 11 Posted July 11 The songs sounds FIRE but I feel she's a little try hard in her image right now...
Schami66 Posted July 11 Posted July 11 (edited) these songs could've been on Smile. I thought she would come back in a big way. Seems like the only difference this time is the budget for the project and the marketing is more focused on gays and gen-z (maybe? The covers and photoshoot give me that vibe) Edited July 11 by Schami66
h.u.r.r.i.c.a.n.e Posted July 11 Posted July 11 (edited) totally random but i really want katy to work with dan n i g r o*. i know he would bring out some magic from her. Edited July 11 by h.u.r.r.i.c.a.n.e 3
Kiss It Better Posted July 11 Posted July 11 gimme gimme sounds like dark horse i'm his he's mine is the best one
mrpartyrocker Posted July 11 Posted July 11 Katy kats will say these are AI versions of her songs with the real lyrics but not the actual songs and Katy is just fooling us 7

You can absolutely tell she's just singing whatever Luke tells her will be a hit. Smile had different producers but was undeniably Katy giving Katy Perry at its most. Ok, so make up your mind. You want her to stay with "Smile" music. Then you criticize her for not changing a sound. She changes sound- it's not her, it's not authentic her... 2

Especially liked the one with the Gypsy Woman sample. Looking forward to her album!

Anyway I can't believe today is WW day, sooo exciting 3
WonkieEye Posted July 11 Posted July 11 This era is so promising, I kinda drifted away from pop years ago into edm and raving and the snippets are telling me this is gonna replace Witness as my fav album from her. AHHH she's so back 2
