jonapova Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Yes it is. But it's not even bad, so I'm shocked at the floppage
Popular Post halcyonday Posted May 28 Popular Post Posted May 28 of course not - the lead single Dance The Night was a huge hit 26
bjorn Posted May 28 Posted May 28 It's not Bionic, Lotus, Liberation, Aguilar level of flop. But it is flopping me thinks 7
Onyxmage Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Unfortunately yes but I feel she may come back out of nowhere. She has a weird history of longevity.
makeawish Posted May 28 Posted May 28 in america yes, it's on the way out and quickly. in the uk, probably not so much and it's harder to chart albums here too fwiw i still think it's a good album, i don't really like it less than FN overall
burninredhot Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Just wait till she adds Cold Heart and it'd be a undeniable smash
Mrnoniee Posted May 28 Posted May 28 are there any good tracks? I've only listened to singles and all are AMAZING and have only listened to 1 track called Maria and its :meh: any other standout track?
ariananext Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I'm just going to say that Future Nostalgia would've performed worse than this without Future Nostalgia's roll-out and promo. They were wrong to think she's established enough not to need all of that. Yes, it is a flop statistically if you compare it to her first two albums. No, it's not a flop all things considered.

PoisonPill Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Not after she adds Dance the Night, Cold Heart, Sweetest Pie, Flowers and Cruel Summer. 1
Vegvisir Posted May 28 Posted May 28 I expected it to flop a LITTLE but not be a Witness-level failure in the US. I remember speculating about her next album with friends back when she was still touring FN, and they all thought I was nuts for suggesting that she had a lot of work cut out for herself moving forward - Dua is physically flawless, has a great voice, has great stage presence (now lol)... but she has ZERO relatability both on the outside and in her music as well. Gorgeous European supermodel popstar on endless summer vacation abroad, talking art and literature over spritzes with friends? To the average american that's beyond relatable lmao
