and on top of that attacking THE Taylor Swift relentlessly the last 2-3 years ? :ahh:

Now y'all are pulling things out of your ass to justify the lashings. The album is doing bad. But there was no major on-going stanwar with Swifties and most Dua stans are well behaved.

What a disaster :rip: And a much needed reality check. Being a singles artist won't be enough to sustain a career in the long run

the lipasters stans on this site needed some humbling

Yeah.. there's no defending this. Doing less than Plastic Hearts in the big year of 2024 is laughable considering how hard her fans have been clowning Miley.

Yeah, these numbers aren't good, especially when there's no hit carrying it so it will only go down from here unless one of the songs go viral and become a hit which I doubt so idk.

Best New Artist curse strikes again

Waiting four years to follow up Future Nostalgia was always going to be a risk, especially coming back with an album that isn't as accessible and full of potential smashes. I really like the album though and I'm sure she can bounce back from this.

I'm not really invested in Dua's success/failure, but I hope this is the end to the obnoxious "Americans just don't understand REAL pop music" arguments yall have run with.

Such a predictable downfall her musical and aesthetic transition to a weird non-descript pastische was odd.

Her career trajectory really reminds me of a Carly Rae Jepsen.

I kinda hate America's taste.

Confession on a Dance floor

Born To Die (before streaming)

Back To Black

And Dua Lipa's albums

All did better in Europe. Europe's taste>>>

Look at Taylor she has yet to outsell Rihanna in Europe or even Gaga. :michael:

She's a faceless popstar. She needs a GP hit.

Which... works? Rihanna was known for underwhelming debuts. Unapologetic was her first #1 album, after 6 other albums, and the units were also subpar. Anti is her only release in the streaming era so I can't make a direct comparison but I remember its Spotify debut wasn't all that either. She's just always had insane longevity

FN being Dua's Good Girl Gone Bad and RO being her RR still makes sense for the most part.

A COLOSSAL FLOP

Damn, this bombed hard, but not surprised, the album isnt that good or strong like FN, there's no clear stand out songs.

Was gonna say the numbers were fine and if anything will be the Scarlet to Future Nostalgia's Planet Her but this kinda took me out.
