sweetblindness Posted May 4 Share Posted May 4 (edited) The album is cute but it's a bit of a letdown after such a long wait (and Dua's statements before release ). She needs to release the deluxe ASAP, then do a few one-off singles throughout the rest of the year, and ideally come back with a new album next summer (or 2026 at the latest), one that commits fully to either the experimental direction this album was allegedly going for OR the pop perfection of FN (maybe go back to those producers too, idk). Her new management is also fumbling hard. The six month leadup to this album was NOT IT. It worked for FN but the music industry was in a much different place then.
