I mean, she is not exactly doing it in the same way as the contexts of each line are different. Lots of artists do this.

It's a rudimentary rhyme, but they're all different enough, I suppose. Examples like this are bound to happen with an extensive catalogue.

The original tiktok video has 888K likes as you can see in the clip, which is viral by atrl standards, but i'm too lazy to look up for it and i dont have tiktok

The Cornelia Street one has always gotten under my skin. You already said you were in the backseat! The setting has been established! You do not need to tell us you are in the car, as you have already implied as much!

 

I always sing it to myself as "I say casually in the dark" which helps to further establish the setting and mood without repeating details. Oh blondie…
