Atrl is going full post truth about TTPD: why?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

There are threads on threads trying to push a narrative TPPD is a panned album, a mixed reviewed album or whatever.

The album sits right now with a more than great 7.6/10 on Anydecent music (an aggregator doesn't count only mainstream magazines but every magazine) and it's true they didn't add a 6.5/10 from Pitchfork (still not a negative review if math is a thing :coffee2: ) but they also didn't still add a 10/10 from artdesk, a 10/10 from American Songwriter,  a 9/10 from sputink music (they panned evermore and midnights with a 5/10) and a 9/10 from Q magazine.

So probably it's gonna end with something like a 7.8-7.9/10 it's basically more than the 70% of most pop star careers.

If you don't like the album it's your opinion but why you are going to such a territory of falsehood it's basically giving post truth and psychosis?.

The consesus about this album is: a not so mush sonically innovative album but another solid and very well esecuted pop album from one of the pop most prolific best names.

I mean it's just not that deep, move on! :bibliahh:.... tryng to push post truth won't change facts.

i'm gonna show what is a panned album cause some of you need help at this point :lakitu:

Because some of us gO OuTSiDe :isudumblmao: and our friends and family think the album is absolutely mid.

Get away from the critics and go talk to PEOPLE. People do not like this album.

Who cares if “People” don’t like the album, it only matters what your personal taste is. Yikes.

Exactly. The lyrics have been the butt of every joke for a few days now... yet swifties still claim people just ~don't get it~.

I'm going to be honest. I haven't even listened to this album. But the meltdowns all around have been so entertaining.

I still don't understand why the fanbase of the most successful artist in recent times feels so threatened by the opinion of others. You're winning, enjoy that.

The fact that some publications can give this a 100 is telling you sth. It's just not a 100/100 album by any means. Somewhere from 6 to 7.5 MAX should be the score of this album. I mean this album is receiving better scores than Ocean Blvd ??? Like forreal?

Most people I know don’t follow pop music enough to have opinions of the albums we talk about on this forum. That includes TTPD. :rip:

The “people” care less about pop music than most of y’all pretend they do.

:giraffe: we hype up "panned" reviews. you're not new here.

also reviews are generally much nicer nowadays. most of the albums you posted are from before 2015 when pop music reviews were a lot harsher

not to make it all about numbers but if "people" HATED the album I don't think it would be breaking all these streaming records :rip:

I mean, 3-4 songs from Taylor's album were enough to outdo any of their faves' latest debuts, of course they're going to take absolutely any chance to drag her. Even if they have to lie to themselves and others about the album's generally positive critical reception.
